Playing much like the board game Scene It on the Xbox360 makes for a pretty good way to spend an hour or so when friends or family come to visit. It contains a decent selection of movie clips to test your knowledge and the 4 buzzers that come with it help to that quiz show feel although after four or five games you may notice clips and questions being repeated.

Ultimately, Scene It? Movie Night: Mega Movies offers up a competent Scene It? experience at a budget price. If you're a Scene It? veteran, your 800 Microsoft points ($10 USD) basically get you a stand-alone DLC pack with new questions and movie clips. It may not be flashy, but it's more than functional. If you're new to the franchise, however, you're probably better off keeping an eye on Amazon, where the Box Office Smash! bundle (with Big Button controllers) can often be had for less than $15.

Trust us: you won't be worried about the game's shortcomings when you're racking your brain trying to remember the specifics of a scene starring Forrest Gump's momma.

If you're looking for a family or party trivia game, Scene It? Movie Night will serve that purpose pretty well. And if a steady stream of content in the form of new question packs is made available you'll probably get some good mileage out of the game. For single players, though, you're either on your own trying to beat your previous score or you're out of luck because of the lack of online support.
