Jan 10, 2011SBK X is a fantastic racing title from Deep Silver.
-
Jan 4, 2011With an addictive career mode, deep customization and its closeness to realism, SBK X deserves a pat in the back. The game offers enough flexibility to the newcomer but patience and practice will be needed once the arcade races become less challenging and fun.
-
Jan 10, 2011SBK X is essentially two games in one. Arcade Mode gives you a simple way to get into a race quickly, go fast, and pop wheelies. Simulation Mode will satisfy the hardcore fans and will give you the closest thing you can get to actually getting on a bike. Both modes are very flexible and customizable so that you can play any way you want and challenge yourself however you wish.
-
Jan 10, 2011There are two sides to SBK X, really. The Arcade mode is probably too laid back - if you just want to dabble with bikes without putting much thought in, MotoGP 09/10 is a more gratifying game - but the Simulation is extremely flexible.

Jan 10, 2011SBK X is one for the simulation fans, and although there is a substantial arcade mode included, if that's more your racing style, you're probably better off looking at MotoGP. There's a lot to this title and a lot to like; the career mode willl definitely take some dedication to get through, but it just doesn't quite put across the thrill of bike racing the same way its competition does. For that reason, it only gets second place on the podium.

Dec 22, 2010SBK X Superbike World Championship is overall just a pretty average game. Yes, it will appeal to the diehard fans of these types of games, and I am sure they will sink quite a few hours into it. The problem lies again with what I said about spreading out their game modes.
-
Dec 14, 2010With the easily accessible Arcade mode and the great degree of customization of the difficulty level in the more complex Simulator mode, SBK X will appeal to rank amateurs and devoted motorcycle racing fans alike. It provides a reasonably accurate representation of high-end motorcycle racing (probably) feels like.

Jan 10, 2011With a decent amount of content (including 14 tracks and 80 riders), thrilling first-person views and super-rewarding gameplay, one half of SBK X is a very good superbike sim tainted by bad design choices and extensive load times. The other half is an accessible, easy-to-understand Arcade mode whose main feature unfortunately loses appeal after only a couple of hours.
-
Jan 10, 2011SBK-X Superbike World Championship is a solid racing package. Either in the arcade style races or the daunting particulars of hitting the track in the simulation mode, the racing never disappoints.
