This game its totally underrated, the controls are the excellente evolution for a RPG played in console, the coop system its great, the story its not less original than Diablo 3, come on, the big let down here its the voices and the abuse of humoristic comments, but we had that too on Sacred 2. Its not open world? Well what was the point of portals on Sacred 2 then. The items, ok you dont get loot, but the skill tree of each ability, equip its the replace of that, and the backstory of each weapon its awesome and how they evolve, the graphics are way better than D3 on the 360, and its way more fun for sure. eu achei um jogo muito divertido de jogar com os amigos se olhar sacred 3 como um jogo sozinho ele e um otimo jogo mas nao e igual aos outros sacred pois ele nao e um rpg e sim um hack n slash com elementos de rpg parece um mistura de dmc (gameplay)com diablo (camara) com borderlands (humor)

It's not bad for a hack and slash. I'm having fun! I don't understand all the horrible reviews. Yeah it's not Sacred 2 or Diablo, but it's really quite relaxing and entertaining. I'm glad I bought it and am playing it. There's no loot, just gold, but you can upgrade your weapons and skills in between missions.

This game is severely underrated. It is everything Diablo 3 should have been, minus the horrible incident that was the RMAH. Done in the same style of 3rd person top-down action adventure hack and slash the game has fast and fluid combat and gameplay mechanics, action, roleplay and plenty of humor. The latest entry in the sacred series simplifies the gameplay down to a dungeon-crawling, hack n' slash. One that has a lot in common with the most recent Gauntlet game. Yet, despite this change it's still a game worth playing. Provided you can overlook the simple nature of it.

It's a very chatty game. Throughout your journey you will be accompanied by the constant chatter of the supporting characters. They mostly just deliver cheesy jokes, some of which are pretty terrible. It's not something I really minded though. It's gives the experience a lot of personality.

The gameplay is pretty straightforward. Levels are linear, combat is basically button-mashing, and upgrading your gear is done by spending gold. The lack of a loot system or branching skill trees keep it from reaching the depths of other RPGs, but when you are looking for some simple dungeon-crawling mayhem this game delivers.

Playing with some buddies only makes it better. It's still a heck of a lot of fun on it's own, but getting some friends together and mindlessly slaughtering the hoards of enemies the game throws at you is a good time. There's even a decent amount of content to do it with. If you can't get anyone to play with you then you can always join a game online.

It's about as simple and straightforward as they come, but Sacred 3 proves that it isn't always a bad thing. I had a heck of a lot of fun carving my way through the legions of creatures that stood in my path. Mix in the solid boss battles and you've got a recipe for a good game. It might not scratch that itch for a real, deep RPG, but if you are just looking to fight your way through some simple chaos and have some buddies to take along for the ride then Sacred 3 delivers. It's also a heck of a lot of fun going solo.

My total score for the game is an 8.5/10

There’s potential here that just isn’t ever realised, even if the game can be fun in small doses.

Fun and accessible, Sacred 3 is an action-RPG for those that haven't yet delved into the genre. It's not perfect, but it's deep, tactical and extremely stabby. [Issue#115, p.81]

Sacred 3 is a complete let down for fans of the franchise, departing from a formula that has somewhat worked in the past in the hope of attracting a wider audience. Instead of building on features, and borrowing some from games that pull off the action RPG genera to a tee, Sacred 3 is disjointed, boring and just downright bad.
