    This game its totally underrated, the controls are the excellente evolution for a RPG played in console, the coop system its great, the story its not less original than Diablo 3, come on, the big let down here its the voices and the abuse of humoristic comments, but we had that too on Sacred 2. The items, ok you dont get loot, but the skill tree of each ability, equip its the replace of that, and the backstory of each weapon its awesome and how they evolve, the graphics are way better than D3 on the 360, and its way more fun for sure. Gold,that's right you heard me.Gold....that's it for treasure. You get predetermined weapons at predetermined points in the game.

    Want to spend some time questing after a day at your work,maybe just to gather some items for turn in? Deep Silver reminds you that it is their way or the highway and to kindly finish ****ing yourself as they are too busy counting the money from all the morons who purchased this turd before reading a review.....like me.

    If you at any point are tempted to buy this piece of garbage, I am in no way disparaging garbage, hit yourself over the head with a hammer a few times until the urge passes.

    This series is officially dead to me now. A group of village idiots could have done a better job at developing this.

    A ****ing travesty to the genre and the Sacred name.

    Ele agrada fãs de porradaria desenfreada, porém falha até nisso. Sem contar que não merece receber o título de subgênero 'RPG'. Um erro das atuais companhias é achar que a simples adesão de recompensa por XP transforma um jogo em RPG, e isso ABSOLUTAMENTE não é verdade!

    Prós:
    - Cenários bem coloridos e bonitos;
    - Multiplayer local;
    - Bonitos moldes de personagens.

    Contras:

    - Sem um real sistema de customização;
    - Sem loot de armas e armaduras;
    - Faltam, literalmente, animações (Exemplo 1: O personagem muda de direção, e o boneco simplesmente muda seu 'sprite'; Exemplo 2: Ao pegar uma bomba do chão, ele simplesmente muda o 'sprite' de "sem nada" para "Com item na mão". Simplesmente não há fluência! ;
    - Muito diálogo;
    - Piadas muuito fracas e forçadas;
    - Poucos personagens;
    - Falta de opção de idiomas (sequer legendas);
    - Falta de combos e sequências ( x, x, x, x, x, x, x, x, x... NÃO É COMBO!)
    - Muita mídia pré-lançamento, e pouco real conteúdo inovador.

    This is an absolutely horrible game, and I went in knowing it was a pure arcade hack-n-slash with no linkage whatsoever to the previous Sacred games. I'll spell it out concisely: no loot, no weapons, no RPG elements, no open world.

    Now, onto the stuff I didn't know about. First, the voice acting is horrendous, and as one reviewer stated, you will "want to cut your ears off with a knife" after playing this game for an hour. Childish scripting, sexual innuendos (a threesome with an ogre?), pop culture references, toilet humor, and kindergarten-level jokes will have you looking for the volume button - there is no way to disable the voices in-game.

    Worst of all, there is really no local multiplayer, which was a huge marketing factor. Sure, you can play more than one player local, but P2-P4 are "guests" and are simply fake characters auto-leveled to the first character. They can't be saved, they don't gain levels, no gold, and are just automatons that are used to fraudulently sell the game as local MP. I remember Dungeon Siege 3 pulling the same scam, which amounted them bolting on local MP in the exact same way, using P2-P4 as non-existent "guests".

    I am a big fan of the action-RPG genre, and this is by far the worst game I have ever played, and makes Dungeon Siege 3 look like The Last of Us. DO NOT BUY!!

Frankly, KEEN as insulted Sacred fans with this impostor assuming a once great name. The KEEN rip-off of the series is a linear and boring, repetitive pseudo campaign, seriously lacking a real story, it is an horror to have shame the Sacred name with "this"... If that is representative of KEEN's products, I shall not touch anything from them, even with a 1000 ft pole. An absolute F*** you to the originals previous Sacred titles fans. AVOID like the plague, this is nothing like the 2 previous Sacred titles, which were great in my book (I still play Sacred 2 on xbox 360, while I've only been able to bear about an hour of "Sacred" 3, and asking the tv set if it was a bad joke)... It's not bad for a hack and slash. I'm having fun! I don't understand all the horrible reviews. Yeah it's not Sacred 2 or Diablo, but it's really quite relaxing and entertaining. I'm glad I bought it and am playing it. There's no loot, just gold, but you can upgrade your weapons and skills in between missions.

    It's a very chatty game. Throughout your journey you will be accompanied by the constant chatter of the supporting characters. They mostly just deliver cheesy jokes, some of which are pretty terrible. It's not something I really minded though. It's gives the experience a lot of personality.

    The gameplay is pretty straightforward. Levels are linear, combat is basically button-mashing, and upgrading your gear is done by spending gold. The lack of a loot system or branching skill trees keep it from reaching the depths of other RPGs, but when you are looking for some simple dungeon-crawling mayhem this game delivers.

    Playing with some buddies only makes it better. It's still a heck of a lot of fun on it's own, but getting some friends together and mindlessly slaughtering the hoards of enemies the game throws at you is a good time. There's even a decent amount of content to do it with. If you can't get anyone to play with you then you can always join a game online.

    It's about as simple and straightforward as they come, but Sacred 3 proves that it isn't always a bad thing. I had a heck of a lot of fun carving my way through the legions of creatures that stood in my path. Mix in the solid boss battles and you've got a recipe for a good game. It might not scratch that itch for a real, deep RPG, but if you are just looking to fight your way through some simple chaos and have some buddies to take along for the ride then Sacred 3 delivers. It's also a heck of a lot of fun going solo.

    My total score for the game is an 8.5/10

    Played: 2019

    Not really recommended, especially for fans of the previous Sacred games. If you can get it free or cheap then it offers enough fun if you like action hack and slash; even more if played coop.

    Sacred 3 is an isometric fixed camera action RPG that leans towards pure action because the RPG mechanics are heavily dumbed down. Unlike the 2 previous games, it is not a Diablo clone. In fact it has almost nothing in common with Sacred 1 and 2 other than the name of the world and that there are Seraphim.

    The game features 4 characters each corresponding to an element (The Seraphim is air) and that more or less play the same. One guy is an archer but otherwise the gameplay is fairly straightforward hack and slash with combat arts being like magic spells or supers that are not meant to be used too much. You get a standard attack, a bash which can stun and disarm shields (otherwise enemies with shields are extremely difficult to deal with), a defense move which you can set as dodge or block (not both), execution to leap on a knocked down enemy for insta kills, 2 combat arts (which have separate mana) and a few consumable support items. There are 3 of 4 difficulty levels available at the start and I found playing on difficulty 3 solo right from the get go to be a perfectly balanced experience that required skillful play, alertness and judicious use of consumables while not being unforgiving of mistakes.

    The controls are easy to learn and you can fully remind then as you see fit. I did not really like that you could not use both dodge and block but it feeds into the coop nature of the game because blocking works better with one player tanking while others put on the hurt; dodge works better solo and with random players. The game has both local and online coop multiplayer and the game seems designed from the ground up to make the multiplayer experience seamless and enjoyable. The one thing notable though is that the game defaults to public every play session so anyone can join you, and having more than 1 player introduces voting for stage and increased countdown to start a stage.

    Stages are separated into very short optional ones that improve your consumables (unlocking new ones, carry capacity and even the amount that is restored for free so you do not have to use the shop) and much longer story stages. The story stages are linear, sometimes having short alternate routes and optional dead ends with treasure. The levels are beautifully detailed and feature dialogue, banter and a variety of set piece mechanics that make the play far more complicated than simply killing everything. You will have to avoid damage from artillery or collapsing roofs, use proper timing to avoid traps (unfortunately some can 1 hit kill you; thankfully there is a generous checkpoint system), protect a thing from waves of enemies, interact with switches or throw bombs while dealing with infinite enemies, find items and keys and deal with mini bosses and level end bosses. The bosses can be quite challenging and went to the World of Warcraft school of design by having you not be in the glowing areas where the boss's attacks will soon be going. Easier said than done though with all the things going on in the heat of battle.

    Progression in the game is drip fed slowly and does not have a lot to offer. Basic things like your armor have a simple linear upgrade path; other things are slightly more complex with "either or" choices that can change the way you play a bit (such as a choice between raw damage or larger area effect). These trees and new combat arts are unlocked at specific character levels and cost gold to upgrade. One great thing is you can undo spending with no penalty if you just want to try something, though I am not sure if you can undo entire trees for a kind of respec (I never needed to try). 2 specific weapons per class and several spirits are granted while playing. The spirits give a bonus in exchange for a penalty and level up seemingly randomly. All the various choices seem to be well balanced, though I did not look at 3 of the characters at all.

    Sacred 3 gets a bad rap because of its name. The reality is that it is a spinoff title that has very little to do with the Sacred franchise and should never have been called “3”. It changes from the Diablo clone style of its predecessors to a simpler and more coop friendly Gauntlet style and it does this quite well. For a cheap short lower budget arcade title, the game is actually well made and reasonably enjoyable, but the voice acting was a huge waste of resources given the quality of the writing they had to work with. I did not play the DLC.

    Note, I had to edit out 1 paragraph about the story due to character limit. Check gamefaqs if interested.

    Sacred 3 is a complete let down for fans of the franchise, departing from a formula that has somewhat worked in the past in the hope of attracting a wider audience. Instead of building on features, and borrowing some from games that pull off the action RPG genera to a tee, Sacred 3 is disjointed, boring and just downright bad.
