At its core, RocketBowl is a unique and potentially delightful mini-game. Unfortunately, much like the balls and lanes at a cheap alley, the end result could use more polish.
-
There’s a lot to keep you going in Rocket Bowl, but it’s sort of a one-trick pony. There are a lot of courses, but not much overall variety from one to the next.
-
Despite the things RocketBowl gets right, most players are more likely to pick up on this thread of general lack of ambition over anything else.
-
RocketBowl reinvents bowling through the introduction of rockets and minigolf-style courses, but isn't nearly as much fun as it sounds.
-
It’s a nice idea and it’s fun for a few rounds, but it’s boring as heck after that.
-
You can sort of see how the concept for Rocket Bowl must have seemed like a good idea, and for a few minutes it's certainly interesting to play around and enjoy the admittedly good physics.
-
Rocket Bowl takes two relatively boring video game genres and creates an entirely new boring genre from them.
