Sep 26, 2011Even if the controls weren't the work of a lunatic, chaining maneuvers is unnecessarily frustrating. Fail to leave a pregnant pause between tricks, and X-Fighters ignores your input altogether.

Sep 22, 2011It's a shame that Red Bull X-Fighters, which tries very hard to be like Trials HD, simply falls flat on its face. It doesn't do the brand any favors and it certainly doesn't respect the athletes who actually can pull off these amazing stunts.

X-ONE Magazine UKNov 16, 2011An uninspired, cheap-looking Trials HD rip-off, plastered with the Red Bull logo. [Issue#78, p.103]

Nov 7, 2011I'm sure the X-Fighters tournament is an impressive affair in real life. It's virtual counterpart, however, is not. The game has some initial appeal, but a complete lack of content, outdated graphics and frustrating controls ruin the experience. This might have worked as a promotional freebie, but it's not something you'd want to pay for.

-
Oct 7, 2011The formula is a promising one, but unfortunately it hasn't been fully realized here. Instead of being as thrilling an experience as the real thing, X-Fighters World Tour is at best mediocre, and at worst a thoroughly boring, half-assed title.

Oct 3, 2011There are better motocross games out there for every format. Buy a Red Bull and play something else instead.

Official Xbox Magazine UKNov 15, 2011It's Trials HD, but it's also rubbish. [Dec 2011, p.105]

Oct 2, 2011X-Fighters ends up being Trials HD's gangly younger brother whom no one wants to pick for the their team, kicking at the sand in the back corner with its hands in its pockets.
