Jan 7, 2011There's a lot to do here for a $10 game. You can collect all sixty medallions, complete each Grand Prix on every difficulty level, and battle your friends.
-
Feb 14, 2011The loose controls and the lack of a story doesn't really matter next to the humor and fun of Raskulls, especially when you play with your friends on- or offline. A demo is available, too.
-
Feb 4, 2011Even if there are new levels or characters added as DLC down the track, it's difficult to view Raskulls as anything but a short-term injection of fun and nothing more.
-
Feb 3, 2011A humorous platform racing game that is a blast with friends but only for a short time.
-
Jan 13, 2011Raskulls is a fun and clever game, but it won't be for everyone.
-
Jan 10, 2011Another noteworthy title in Xbox Live Arcade, which will please two-dimensional games lovers, although it has very strong competition in the platform's portfolio.
-
Dec 31, 2010There's little truly innovative about Raskulls, and its non-stop attempt to charm (never as funny as it thinks it is) nearly backfires. But with its solid mechanics, well-designed levels, and cute characters, only a grizzled old Gargamel wouldn't enjoy their time with the Raskulls.
-
Dec 31, 2010The Raskulls are charming, and that's the strongest point of a fun, engaging and compelling game. It's extremely simple, its gameplay is basic and it's kinda repetitive, but it has so many fun moments that it becomes a great experience for playing both solo or with friends.
-
Jan 6, 2011If you have a lot of patience, you might find Raskulls' single-player challenges rewarding. Otherwise, you're better off dabbling in the campaign and focusing on the multiplayer.
-
Dec 29, 2010With a lack of game types and replay value, Raskulls is a once-through puzzle-platformer that satisfies upon first impressions but fails to hold the attention beyond the first hour of play.
-
Feb 23, 2011It's only during multiplayer sessions that Raskulls shines, as the campaign is quite bland. But playing against other people at home or over the net can be plenty of fun, as long as you can find other players.
-
games(TM)Feb 20, 2011Raskulls isn't a very balanced racing experience. [Issue#106, p.105]
-
Jan 5, 2011It's such a shame that Raskulls is brought down by weak level design.
-
Jan 4, 2011Raskulls is many things – racer, puzzler, platformer – but it struggles to be all these things at once, or to do them equally well. Beneath the charming, brightly coloured exterior, there's a fascinating twist on the block-based puzzler at Halfbrick's game's heart – but you might just miss it when blasting through at high speed.
-
Jan 2, 2011Raskulls is certainly not a terrible game, just one that will quickly wear out its welcome.
-
Dec 30, 2010This block-busting platformer has plenty of quirky charm, but the action is too simple to be interesting for long.
-
Jan 4, 2011I really liked the look and humor in Raskulls. I really did. Sadly, there's not a whole lot more to be had here. The single-player portion of the game is super short and I found very little to come back to after I completed the story, bonus levels or not.
