If you've never played Plants vs. Zombies before, then this is - wait for it - a no-brainer. The game is an amazing gigglefest of unbridled fun, overflowing with game modes and replayability.
-
All I can say is that PopCap will be hard pressed to top Plants vs Zombies with any of their future releases.
-
While Plants vs. Zombies lacks the superior control scheme of iDevices (and even a good old fashioned PC mouse), the extra modes are worth a purchase: even if you already own another iteration!
-
The simple truth is that Plants vs. Zombies on Xbox Live Arcade is one of the best values on the entire service.
-
For all its humor, endless replay value and subtle, accessible strategy, it's no wonder that Plants vs. Zombies remains one of the best games to come out of the casual gaming market.
-
If you are one of the few individuals that have not experienced this title within one of its many incarnations then you are truly in for a treat.
-
While I'd still point to the touch-enabled iPad edition as the definitive version of the game (thus far), Plants vs. Zombies makes a very impressive transition to Xbox Live Arcade.
-
It's clever, addictive, funny and can be played with a friend. At $15 on Xbox Live Arcade, it's probably the best deal of the dying summer.

This Xbox 360 has the best of the original game, solves the potential control problem, and adds as its main innovation the multiplayer mode.
-
With a main game mode that spans 50 levels, numerous unlockable modes that extend the lifespan significantly, stupidly addictive gameplay and fun-infused presentation, you'd be a fool to pass up Plants Vs Zombies.
-
It has that elusive "special something" that gets its hooks in you and convinces you to forego food, sleep, and other essentials just to see what the next level has in store. Even if you've already played through the game on PC or iPhone, the versus multiplayer mode is definitely worth checking out.
-
Zombies are once again invading our garden in the Xbox Live Arcade version of Plants vs Zombies. And really, it is just as fun as ever and highly recommended to everyone.
-
If the new control layout on the 360 is of concern, don't sweat it. PopCap has continually done a fantastic job translating the control scheme across platforms (from computers to touch screens) and the 360 controller is no exception.
-
Unlike the iPad/iPhone version, the game offers everything the PC version does, and then some. So along with all the mini games, the Zen garden and the survival modes you also get local co-op and Vs modes, which give it added value.
-
If you've never played PVZ before on any platform, then purchasing it is a no-brainer because it's hands down one of the best video games ever made for any platform.
-
Co-op is the highlight, adding mechanics like floating sun energy that's reaped by both players hovering their cursor over it, and dividing the job of dropping plants by giving each player four seed packets. It's well-balanced strategy that isn't hardcore, but is fertilised by adorable comedy.
-
Plants vs. Zombies is a sheer addiction that you won't take off anytime soon, whether you're a veteran player or a first-timer joining the ranks.
-
At 1,200 Microsoft points ($15), Plants vs. Zombies is a bit more expensive on the Xbox 360 than on the PC, where you can snag it from Steam for a mere $10. If you've never played the game, it is well worth the cost.
-
With all the modes and the differences caused by changes in the environments and zombies, this game will keep you coming back for quite some time.
-
If you've played through the game previously on another platform then it's dependent on how much you love the game as to whether the console upgrade is worth it. However, if you're someone who has never experienced the humble joys of a Popcap gem such as this then it's a more-than-worthy purchase.
-
Plants vs. Zombies is one of the most amusing Xbox Live Arcade games at this point in time. The 1200 Microsoft Points may look a bit expensive, but rest assure that this game is worth its price.
-
Any way you slice it, Plants vs. Zombies is a win.
-
The Xbox 360 version of this great tower defense game is the best yet and is the first to feature both cooperative and competitive multiplayer.
-
There is so much to do in Plants vs. Zombies that it's impossible to become bored with the game.
-
PopCap Games' best game and probably the best ever Tower Defence – and it works just as well as you'd hope on the Xbox 360.
