Sadly, Planet 51 is a classic bad tie in; despite its young target, the title misses the point, and even if you loved the movie you won't be compelled by the boring gameplay.

With dull events, terrible lip synching in the cut scenes, short story and just not enough to do for a sandbox game the few fun vehicle parts just aren’t enough. If you have some small children who enjoyed the film it’s probably worth picking up just to keep them quiet for a bit, but for anyone else it just isn’t worth it.
