The Live series makes a strong come back this year with NBA LIVE 10, so what if it took a decade on the pine watching 2K take home all the hardware? There's no shame in being the Sixth Man so long as you keep improving to a full fledged starter. With that said, I don't remember the last time I saw somebody go out and buy an Aaron McKie jersey.

NBA Live 10 is a good arcade basketball game. In the latest EA Sports production we can notice a big step further from last year's NBA Live but the way to the top, with a limited AI and gameplay, is too far away yet.

Another year, another Live⦠and a little extra. At least Live Run might keep the online play interesting.

For the first time in many years, EA seems to get it right. Simple controls, easy to pick up and play and a nice presentation. Sometimes though, it feels a little too easy, advanced dribbles and spin-moves are performed with just the touch of a button and it takes away some of the satisfaction you feel in other sports games. Still, it's a big step forward from previous titles and a must-buy for every basket-fan out there.

BoomtownElectronic Arts have delivered a pretty good package here for the fans, it looks the part, plays well, and has a good selection of game modes to keep most people happy.
