    NASCAR ’14 offers up a solid racing experience, and should be a satisfying pickup for fans of the sport. Casual fans may want to wait for a price drop, but die-hards will easily get $50 worth out of — especially with DLC coming monthly that updates everything to the current season.

    NASCAR '14 is not just a carbon copy of Inside Line, but most of its improvements are either minor enough or exposed by other flaws that the sum total of the experience doesn't equate to a lot of positive momentum.

    Solid game, but until Eutechnyx starts to fix this franchise's routine short-comings, my score is going to continually fall further and further back.

    this game is exactly the same as last years nascar game but it is a good game. I wish that character customization could be added because i amthis game is exactly the same as last years nascar game but it is a good game. I wish that character customization could be added because i am a black man, but i love nascar games and i just wish i could make the character look more like me. the game does have shortcomings, but they are the same shortcomings from last year. There has been no real improvement even in the commentary from your pit crew. The biggest improvement is a more in depth vehicle customization menu. I also noticed the lighting on the car is more realistic. I usually get games about a week before they come out and i was wondering if my profile would get banned if i wrote reviews about them. i tried to do the same on ign but they suspended my account and i only can guess that the reason is because i wrote a review about a game that wasn't out yet. Because there was no major improvements to this game and it was exactly the same I rate this game a 5. If you liked last years' nascar game, then you can save your money and keep playing it. There is no difference. If you want a review on a game that is coming out soon let me know and I will play it and review it for you.… Full Review »

    This game is by far the biggest rip off I've ever purchased. From day one since I purchased the game it has been nothing but a headache. How this was overlooked by the development team is a mystery I will never understand. Every race I have attempted has been plagued in some way by some sort of bug, freeze up or glitch. Which is sad because when the game actually works I won't lie it is the best NASCAR game I've played to date. But what's the point of such a good racing experience if you can't actually experience it? I really feel I have been ripped off here. I rarely dish out 50 dollars for a game. I normally wait a few months till the price drops. But I was so ready for NASCAR this year I couldn't help but pick up the game hoping for the best. Boy am I let down. Deep silver ought to be ashamed for releasing this crap to the public. It's THAT bad. I promise you. Spotter audio has cut off for me in every race I've attempted. 3 out of 5 races I play end up freezing resulting in a waste of 50 plus or more laps of racing going down the drain. I want to say maybe it won't freeze this time but honestly I'm scared to play this game in fear I'll get 50-75% finished with a race and freeze up losing hours of hard racing work. I've froze up in the pits on multiple occassions and several times on the loading screens between races. And if you think I'm just making this up google NASCAR 14 freezes I'm sure you'll see I'm not the only person experiencing these problems. I bought the game brand new the game disc is flawless so I don't want to hear maybe my game is just a bad copy. If that's the case how come it seems many others are having the same.issues. Clearly a lack of giving a heck by the people who released the game. And to be honest I'm really angry, and feel very ripped off. There is NO WAY these issues could have been over looked by the games producers. Please. Do yourself a favor and don't give deep silver the satisfaction of ripping you off. Until these issues are dealt with this game is virtually unplayable. Don't buy it. Tak heed to my words. I promise I'm telling the truth. I even contacted tech support and these deep silve folks have to be lousiest game producers in the modern gaming era. They made no attempt to help me whatsoever or offer condolences or even say they were looking to fix the problem. Never in the modern age of gaming have I played a more broken title. And for this reason I think all gamers should think twice before EVER purchasing a game produced by deep silver again. They are truly the Ljn of the modern gaming era. Just putting broken bs on store shelves merely just wanting some poor sumo to dish out 50 dollars of hard earned money regardless of game performance. Money hungry corporation that deserves to fold. 10 fold. That's my review. And I was nothing but honest. Stay away from this game. Unlike deep silver I actually care about you people.
