Games Master UKIn fact, it's the most exciting superbike racing we've played for a while. [Dec 2008, p.83]
-
MotoGP 08, like Casey Stoner's Ducati, isn't quite as staggeringly fast as last year's model, but it's still a great bike racer. It also lacks some of the shine and party atmosphere that the fantastic THQ MotoGP series had.
-
MotoGP 08 is the best chance that motorcycling fans can find at this moment. Its control is fine, and the presence of the Career Mode assures many hours of entertainment.
-
The game’s mechanics have been streamlined to help bring in new players, but the overall feel of the game and low-key presentation is still one that caters to the hardcore fans of the series and no one else. Still, the deep career mode will keep fans busy for a while and should be worth a look for them.

MotoGP definitely isn’t one of those games, I doubt it has done anything out of the ordinary, but it is a game out of my regular interest and a game that’s definitely recommended by conformists and non-conformists alike.

Xbox World 360 Magazine UKA slick and well-presented game that entertains without alienating hardcore bikers. [Christmas 2008, p.77]
-
There's a definite downshift in graphical swagger (no more heat-haze and speed-blur visual effects), but MotoGP 08 delivers pretty much everything else a two-wheeled racing fan could ask for. [Dec 2008, p.87]
-
MotoGP 08 had me hooked after I got the ‘small’ learning curve out of the way.
