    Ich finde das, dass Spiel ein sehr gutes Spiel im ersten Playthrough war und ich hätte eine 8/10 gegeben, doch nachdem ich das Spiel nun in meinem 2.Playthrough nochmal beendet habe muss ich leider einen Punkt abziehen, da mir mit weiterer Spieldauer leider auffiel das, dass Spiel leider keine wirkliche Komplexität besitzt, anders als andere Spiele von Platinum Games, wie Bayonetta. DasIch finde das, dass Spiel ein sehr gutes Spiel im ersten Playthrough war und ich hätte eine 8/10 gegeben, doch nachdem ich das Spiel nun in meinem 2.Playthrough nochmal beendet habe muss ich leider einen Punkt abziehen, da mir mit weiterer Spieldauer leider auffiel das, dass Spiel leider keine wirkliche Komplexität besitzt, anders als andere Spiele von Platinum Games, wie Bayonetta. Das was das Spiel aber für mich spaßig macht ist das Parry System das, dass ganze spaßig und einzigartig macht. Zudem ist die Handlung auch ein Highlight für mich, da sie sehr humoristisch war, aber auch etwas eigenes erzählt, das ich so narrativ noch nie so erlebte. (ein weiterer Punkt wieso der zweite Playthrough nicht so gut war wie der erste) Doch abseits davon gab es nicht viel was das Spiel so richtig gut macht. Doch ich denke das wenn man Character Action Games mag, man sich das Spiel trotzdem anschauen sollte, da ich trotzdem sehr viel spaß hatte und ich in naher Zukunft definitiv noch einen dritte Spieldurchgang, auf dem höchsten Schwierigkeitsgrad, machen werde.… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. decided to play this because of the memes, but then i had one of the best **** gaming experiences of my life. something about this game is just amazing to me, and i don’t know if it’s the music, the bosses or the mariachi outfit which i definitely didn’t make raiden wear for the rest of the game.

    i loved the call backs to the other games, from boris with the ‘kept you waiting’, rose being mentioned (rose is still the worst character in the franchise though) and solidus also being mentioned by nanomachines, son. the first proper boss (mistral) was the easiest boss i’ve ever done in my life, even on normal difficulty, which was a really stupid thing to do considering i had never played the game before. this is where a problem of mine is with this game: easy difficulty is too easy. sounds ridiculous, but the difference between normal mode and easy is insane. i started on normal difficulty, and was doing fine until it took me 4 hours to beat the bladewolf fight, but then beat the mistral fight in one go. on easy, i beat the fight in two goes because i forgot the nanopaste existed. that took me 8 minutes. on normal difficulty, i got stuck on the monsoon fight. i **** you not i could not beat this, so i decided to start the game again, but on easy. i finished the entire game in 3 hours. it took me less time to finish the entire game on easy than it did to beat a boss on normal. which is why i say it’s too easy. i don’t know if easy mode was intended for people who had never played a video game before, but the difference between the two modes is ridiculous. in my opinion i think there should’ve been more difficulties like in the earlier games. this was really my only “issue” with the game.

    Very satisfying high action combat with an amazing ost if ur into hack and slash games this is a must play with the only downside to this game being the camera messing up in certain boss fights.

    This game is absolute perfection. The absolute dopamine you get from playing this game is insane, not only is it just dopamine, as each boss has a killer track and even more killer gameplay, could not recommend more than I physically can.

    Way ahead of its time. The boss fights are incredibly innovative and fun, the soundtrack is obviously outstanding, blade mode is creative and addicting, and the story is pretty good as well. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good slash 'n hack video game.

    I was a little bit late to the party, i played this game in 2022. But the game didn't felt old or clunky. I love the style, the music, characters ,everything about the game. This is some prime Kojima stuff. Enjoyed every second of it...

    Metal Gear Rising: Revengence is a very good game. Platinum Games did an amazing job. I hope maybe one day Platinum would be able to make a sequel + Sword mode is the most badass **** ever. Final score: 8.2/10

    You like the Metal Gear franchise? The early games where a bit too stealthy for my tastes, but when Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance came out in 2013, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. The whole game has very clear, crisp gameplay, and a new sheen of futuristic aesthetic that really gives the game a big boost. It’s been compared to Devil May Cry, but IYou like the Metal Gear franchise? The early games where a bit too stealthy for my tastes, but when Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance came out in 2013, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. The whole game has very clear, crisp gameplay, and a new sheen of futuristic aesthetic that really gives the game a big boost. It’s been compared to Devil May Cry, but I think Revengeance has a far more ridiculous, outlandish sense of humor.

    Released alongside was the soundtrack, their most accomplished album. I think their undisputed masterpiece is "It Has To Be This Way", a song so Metal, most people probably don't listen to the lyrics. But they should, because it's not just about the crazy drums and the guitar solo, it's also a personal statement about the similarities of the hero and villain.    … Expand

    The game is fantastic! I'm playing it right now and it has infinite re-playability. It always pushes you to do better in every mission. It is a little hard, but definetely worth playing!

    This game is like a metal gear game except actually good these people who will tell u its bad are just losers that don't find fun games fun and much rather enjoy being virgins all there lives rather than slaying some mechs and fighting corruption

    An amazing game full of humour and charm. If you like the standard metal gear format don't get it as this game is a hack and slash game. The game has tons of replayability with collectables scattered across the levels. It's a bit short but with both DLCs which add new story and mechanics (FOR FREE) this game is amazing.

    the games is really good, the music make me want to play it everyday 24/7 , the gameplay is ass good but the frame drop to 10 fps is not the good. the boss are hard as hell so it is an 8

    As a major Platinum Games and Metal Gear fan, This was a dream match made in heaven. The soundtrack and gameplay make this a phenomenal experience, like all games there are minor issues but overall it's great.

    It's well written but I **** hate Platinum Games and how they design games so that was a major turn off for me when I played it because of the combat mechanics being sloppy. Why do I have to dodge pressing X+A? And why can't I parry by pressing a bind instead of having the game do it for me by moving left stick+X? I don't get it and it annoys me

Metal Gear Rising has a relatively short, simple, brutal and massive story, don't get me wrong, I think the game is sensational, but it's not even close to being a successful hack and slash. The enemies are very repetitive and the cut screen gets to be boring at certain times, the game does notUnlike other games in the Metal Gear saga, Revengeance surprises for being a hack and slash. Metal Gear Rising has a relatively short, simple, brutal and massive story, don't get me wrong, I think the game is sensational, but it's not even close to being a successful hack and slash. The enemies are very repetitive and the cut screen gets to be boring at certain times, the game does not offer a challenge worthy of the mode, nor does it have such an elaborate story, leaving something to be desired. Despite that the gameplay is fluid, I didn't find any problems regarding the gameplay or the sound, the blows are brutal and very fun, yielding few hours of gameplay, but good hours.… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. mgr has an excellent combat system, it really is fun with good difficulty in much of the game, except for the final boss Armstrong.
    Personally I had problems with this last boss, when he throws objects and you have to enter zandatsu mode, the impression he gives me is that it is poorly implemented.
    Despite these issues, I think it is quite replayable and I consider it a good spin off.    … Expand

    If you enjoy Action or Hack and Slash games then you owe it to yourself to experience this masterpiece! It's a legendary game with the best sword combat ever in a video game. Incredibly satisfying from the moment you pick up the controller. Oh and the music! Simply mindblowing...

    Los únicos puntos negativos son los siguientes:
    1.-Pocos niveles.
    2.-Su sistema de combate es muy simple comparado a otros juego del mismo estilo.
    3.-Hay más cinemáticas que juego.
    Fuera de eso este juego es una maravilla.

    Metal Gear series and hardcore beat 'em ups fans will fall in love with this one. They will even extend their experience by replaying the game. They will have no troubles at all with its highly-problematic camera along with its useless junk in the combat system. They will handle it. Gamers outside the fandom do not need to get excited, there is nothing interesting for them.

    Ultimately Platinum has managed to deliver on the vision that Kojima first announced back in 2009, and it's a roller coaster ride from start to end. The gameplay is the forefront of importance for the genre and it’s there that they’ve certainly managed to deliver.
