  1. Not as good as its predecessor but a fun, nostalgic return to that blue guy we love to love.

Mega Man 10 is on certain moments a good game, but it drops stitches as well. Furthermore, the bosses aren't all original and the soundtrack is a little bit annoying. Still the game offers enough innovation to keep you busy for hours.

Mega tough, mega mean, mega good. [May 2010, p.103]

To complain about Mega Man's difficulty is to miss the point. [Issue#59, p.105]

Another tortuously brutal NES-styled slice of gaming masochism for the hardest of the hardcore. [July 2010, p.121]

Disregarding the fact that it's an almost unoriginal direct copy and paste game the design of every level is pretty bad. Most of the enemies are unusually unfair and almost impossible to dodge, the platforms are always either too far apart or too close. Unlike former games in the series Mega Man 10 has no gradual difficulty ramp. In mere seconds the levels go from basic to abnormal and new things are introduced without teaching you how they work. Looking at this game critically without nostalgia in mind it very much is just a bad title with more anger and frustration than anything. Full Review »
