  1. Overall, Project Overlord is a fantastic piece of DLC that either extends Mass Effect 2 for those still playing it or reignites the fire in those of us who loved it but have moved on.

Overlord is a winner and one of my favorite sets of Mass Effect missions yet. Go give it a try.
  3. It presses all the right buttons to create a fun, varied and emotional side mission.
  4. Fun action, great audio, and multiple memorable moments make Mass Effect 2's latest add-on a winner.
  5. If you're a Mass Effect 2 head, then this is must have content.
  6. The Overlord Pack for Mass Effect 2 is well spent money and a nice second add-on for Mass Effect 2. A couple hours of varied gameplay.
  7. Regardless how you classify it, everything in this DLC is so exciting to play through, that it doesn't make feel like this an attempt to grab even more money from players.
  8. Like Stolen Memories, though, Overlord is a short-lived experience with plenty of familiar elements. Two-or-so hours of gameplay is a little slim for the price, though the quality of the content ultimately speaks for itself.
  9. I very much enjoyed the thought and balance that obviously went into the creation of this new mission, and as a true Mass Effect fan, this attempt to return to form is probably the most welcome thing I could possibly imagine.
  10. An entertaining side dish that easily justifies its asking price.
  11. If you loved Mass Effect 2 you will certainly like Overlord. Unfortunately it only lasts two hours, but every mission adds new pieces to the overall story.
  12. Yet another inessential and senseless expansion that ignores all the best elements of the original.

Very solid add-on, though it's not very long (I finished it in about 90 minutes). Despite it's somewhat short length, it's Very solid add-on, though it's not very long (I finished it in about 90 minutes). Despite it's somewhat short length, it's highly playable, and satisfyingly bizarre. It's much darker in tone than any level in the core game, and it features some great psychedelic graphics and mind-f*cks that will make it worth playing through a few times. Highly recommended.
