  1. No matter the reasoning, "Stolen Memory" is something every Mass Effect junkie should own, if not just to justify popping the disk in again.
  2. Brief as it is, its two hours of new content bears the Bioware standard of excellence. If your ship's decks are looking a little lonely of late, consider taking this crafty criminal's services for a spin.
  3. Sure, it is more of a great game, but for only a couple of hours maximum of game play it hardly seems an appropriate price point.
  4. Mass Effect 2 enthusiasts should consider Kasumi’s Stolen Memory as a must buy, because of its interesting value and charismatic main character.
  5. The combat scenarios escalate nicely as you battle your way out of Hock's fortress home, culminating in a robust boss battle that is predictable yet very satisfying.
  6. Kasumi - Stolen Memory is money well spent and a great expansion to Mass Effect 2 that tells the story about the space ninja Kasumi Goto. It really fits in the universe and feels like a natural add-on that all Mass Effect-fans should get.

A fun little mission and Kasumi herself is well written. Too bad that we can't have any real dialogue with her once the mission is over. Also it still feels like cheating to just give us one mission instead of the normal two-part structure we get in the basic game. [May 2010]
  8. Ultimately, the question you have to ask yourself is if an hour-long mission and an underdeveloped new character are worth $7. To most people who have already played, beaten and put away Mass Effect 2 for good, the answer is a resounding no.

Kasumi's Stolen Memory is a great little quest, but for most the "little" part will be a sticking point. At roughly an hour in length, this is one download that doesn't offer a lot of bang for your buck.
  10. Mass Effect die-hards will certainly want to invest, but more casual fans of the series might want to think twice before purchase.
  11. Kasumi's loyalty mission and her abilities as a combat partner are certainly enjoyable, but there won't be enough content to utilize her with if you've already finished the game and don't plan on re-embarking with a fresh start.

It boasts some stunning set pieces, a cool new weapon and Kasumi is definitely not a useless character. It did run up a bit short though. It took me 45 minutes to beat this on veteran, and the overall experience, while great, felt like it should have cost 400ms instead of 560ms. If you only play through ME2 once and never again, then this is not recommended. If you play alot, then this is for you. Full Review »

The DLC itself is relatively short and battles are standard ME2 fare. Shepard acting incognito is a nice change-up but it is does not live up to its potential. Full Review »

This DLC for Mass Effect 2 adds in a very good squad member, who is fun to use and plays very differently from any other squad member. This DLC for Mass Effect 2 adds in a very good squad member, who is fun to use and plays very differently from any other squad member. However, the mission which is included with the pack is pretty average and not overly long. Specifically when compared with the Overlord pack, Kasumi does not seem like great value for money due to its brevity. Full Review »
