    Yet great strides have been made in creating a more realistic-playing game, especially when factoring in the assortment of sliders that can adjust the action even further. There are still areas that could use additional polish, but the overall experience is a step in the right direction.

    This is not a perfect outing but dang is it a big improvement over last year’s outing and if your looking at this as a potential option I would say rent it first and make sure the style fits your needs as the game has plenty of content to take you outside of a rental period.

    But this much is certain: when you put the game in and start playing, you'll actually be able to play a game of baseball. That alone is a huge improvement over last year's title.

    This is the first time in a long time that 2K has a viable baseball game in its stable, and while there remain many issues that need to be addressed either via a patch or for 2K11, at least now the developers have something real to build on rather than being forced to start all over again.

    This is the type of game where you need to review it for what it is and not compare it to MLB 10 the show because then the game feels veryThis is the type of game where you need to review it for what it is and not compare it to MLB 10 the show because then the game feels very bad.I really enjoy this game and I think 2K is back on track and is going to make a baseball game amazing in 2001 with MLB 2k11.For now,the graphics are great,commentary is the best and the my player mode is awesome!The game play is a big improvement over 2k9 but that game wasn't bad by any means,after the patch was released it actually was one of my favorite baseball games.World series baseball 2k3 was something special and the best baseball game ever at the time and I think it's all gonna come back and they will be on top again but like I said I don't like to compare but MLB 10 the show blew me away!This game is a solid 8.… Full Review »

    As a former PS2 owner I decided when I upgraded to buy xbox 360. However one big part of my decision was my lose of the show.2K9 was pretty lame however this version is near flawless. I pick a team other than my yankees and create players. I love this game now becuase you can change pitching along with thier pitches, and you can raise their speed, movement. The batting is still to strong. In other words I can still hit 350 with every other player. I hate that. Ib my lineup of 9 after 60 games already 7 guys are hitting over.320. I hate that but it happened on the show also. Overall this game is near flawless. I thing that does bother me tho is I have only had 1 error in 60 game.A little unrealistic.… Full Review »
