The criticisms over price are unfounded as its actually cheaper than the PSP versions. A perfect game.

Great game hampered by the 360's mediocre D-Pad.

Great game. Worth every penny. Highly recommend it to anyone. Best live arcade game so far.

Just not much fun, feels like it should have been and I can't put my finger on why not, it just isn't.

I loved this game for the PSP, but this is just a skeleton version of it. They make you pay even more money to upgrade and play things like "vs Computer" and the puzzle mode..... and so on.... Although it is still Lumines, it just feels half assed. Another complaint is that you cant exit and save your progress, like puting your psp on hold to come back to it later, since each game could I loved this game for the PSP, but this is just a skeleton version of it. You might want to resist, and you might mind coughing up the extra change, but you're bound to be hopelessly and happily addicted to what is truly a great puzzler. [Oct. 2006, p.78]
  2. Lumines Live! has the same addictive gameplay as the PSP original does, but you don't get a lot for your money.
  3. It takes a bit of getting used to, as most puzzlers of this kind are, but before long you’re rocking and rolling with it. And your friends and family might not be able to pry it out of your hands until you drop from exhaustion.
