Jul 4, 2023A fantastic sequel after 4 years of the first game such a fantastic BIG open world with a funny characters and funny gameplay.
P.S (I play both version on the console) -
Jun 9, 2023Absolute banger of a sandbox destruction game. A variety of weapons, vehicles, tools, and locations keep the destruction fresh and the grappling hook is so much fun to use for combat, traversal, and shenanigans. Overall a blast to play.

Jun 9, 2023I love attaching a human body to my car with a grappling hook and using it as an anchor

Jan 2, 2021This game provides a well-made, varied world to mess around in as well as lots of tools to just that. The game has a great variety of weaponry and vehicles. As well as a a grapple hook and an apparently infinite number of parachutes. It’s great.
The story isn't great and the missions are nothing special but the enjoyment of this game comes solely from the sandbox. -

Dec 17, 2014This is honestly one of the best games this generation. It's so much fun with so many things to do and see. The grappling hook is quality. It's a 10/10 game. Hope they do a just cause 3!

Dec 7, 2014In order to understand Just Cause 2, you need to understand chaos. This game is all about doing sweet stunts, using the grappling hook to attach enemies to gas canisters , and send them flying to orbit to save the Philae lander that is dead on that comet.

Jan 4, 2014Now after all the games I have played on current gen, this is still probably my favorite. I had a blast with this game from day 1, it's a game I'll hold near and dear forever. No other games offer this kind of over the top fun, endless freedom on such an awesome world to play on.

Jul 26, 2013This game is far from perfect. Very far from perfect. But holy crap is it fun.
Imagine taking a fighter jet, crashing it an enemy base, only then to zip-line into the base to attack the remaining forces. It's a balls-to-the-wall action game, and it's awesome. -

Feb 10, 2013This game's pretty good. Roaming around and causing chaos is fun especially when you have nice stunts and weapons. The gameplay is nice though and has good graphics. After awhile though the game got a bit repetitive because I wanted to cause as much Chaos as I can before finishing the storyline. But still this is a great game that can entertain you for a long time.

X-ONE Magazine UKAs a high-octane action game this is among the best in recent memory. Everything it does falls just the right side of ludicrously fun, so that it's hard to really criticize anything too harshly...Only the tiniest of niggles drag what is an excellent game back to earth. [Issue#56, p.77]
-
One of the most enjoyable sandboxes for players to experiment in this side of Grand Theft Auto. [Issue#204, p.86]

Just Cause 2 can hardly be called an average game. It's a good one undermined by a selection of mediocre elements, and it's all the more frustrating this time around because Avalanche shows us glimpses of just how much fun two weeks on holiday with Rico should be. [Apr 2010, p.96]
