Amusing rally game with nice price, the XP system is engaging. Short career but tons of modes. Graphic engine can run at 60fps, but lack detail.

The streamlined controls, trio of difficulty levels, varied vehicle set-ups, and manageable amount of modes and content welcome anyone to start their engines.

With unspectacular graphics and only six courses, Jeremy McGrath's Offroad is hard to recommend. Ultimately the solid gameplay can't overcome a short campaign mode and uninspired events. Worse yet, this is one of the easiest racing games ever developed. Jeremy McGrath's Offroad is a low-energy take on one of the most world's exciting sports!

Jeremy McGrath's Offroad is a tight package that serves its purpose. There isn't an endless well of content, but what is here is really fun. You can see all it has to offer in a day, but perfecting races and upgrading vehicles will keep you coming back for a while. If you are like me and enjoy a good offroad racer, this is a solid purchase. The price tag is perfect, and the fun is genuine. Now back to dreaming about a true Rally Cross successor.

Manages to set itself apart from other racing games out there through its use of an interesting racing engine and a host of interesting RPG elements. Unfortunately, these high points are brought down by a barebones presentation and lack of game modes. However, for its ten-dollar budget price tag, Offroad certainly managed to keep me entertained for a few afternoons of racing fun.

If you're a fan of off road racing, pick this game up if it's under 600 MS points, but it makes about as much sense to pick up Jeremy McGrath's Offroad for 800 MS points, as it does trying to skydive without a parachute.

Simple, fun and accesible are words that define this Jeremy McGrath's Offroad. Although it is far from other games in the genre, both technically and in content, it offers enough to satisfy players who are not very demanding.

It's not clear why handling, top speed, acceleration, and braking improvements apply only to specific livery paint jobs instead of to entire vehicle classes, and we never did figure out how the useless "clutch boost" feature was supposed to help us.

Jeremy McGrath's Offroad is far from a bad game, because while you are playing it you will have fun. A quick fifteen minute blast can easily turn into an hour. However once the career mode is done and a few time trials beaten there doesn't feel like any reason to go back again. Which is a shame, as the game does a lot right, it just feels like the developers bolted on a few modes at the last minute to an otherwise fine offroad engine.

In the end Jeremy McGrath's Off Road Racing does exactly what it sets out to, which is deliver a solid racing experience that will provide gamers their money's worth whether they are playing online, offline, or both.

Besides being unchallenging and repetitive, it's the lack of polish and content that really makes Jeremy McGrath's Offroad feel like the budget title it is. It's certainly accessible but in this case that just means oversimplified, all in all creating nothing more than a poor man's Dirt.

The best quality of Jeremy McGrath's Offroad is that it's functional. It may even be slightly enjoyable for a few hours if you're not picky about downloadable games. Otherwise, I recommend spending a little more than $10 and catching DiRT 3 on sale.

Jeremy McGrath's Offroad is an unchallenging, bland bore not worth your time or money. There are more engaging racers out there, retail and downloadable that will satisfy your driving needs.
