    This game is awesome dude you just have to give it time. Once you start unlocking parts you really start to feel the sense of speed the game has tons of customizations. Fun.

    Solid title that takes a couple hours before it gets it's hooks into you. Once you start upgrading your car and/or getting better ones, the game starts coming into it's own. For what it's worth, all 360 games have custom soundtracks...all you have to do is hit the middle dashboard button and "select music".

    Haven't played through it yet, but it seems right along the lines of every other TXR game, if you like them you will like this one, loads more customization and the cockpit view is nice too.

    i got it and it's playable but disappointing. graphics are ok but not pushing the hardware at all. music is crap and why can't you use custom soundtracks? duh, what's the harddrive for? controls are a little squishy but tolerable-seems like the rear end slides a bit more than i remember. AI is dumb as it was in the older versions. customizing the cars is good and i like thei got it and it's playable but disappointing. graphics are ok but not pushing the hardware at all. music is crap and why can't you use custom soundtracks? duh, what's the harddrive for? controls are a little squishy but tolerable-seems like the rear end slides a bit more than i remember.     What this one lacks in technical prowess, it more than makes up in addictivity. Impromptu racing on Tokyo highways has never been this fast, fluent, and fun. Not necessarily a classic but an entertaining racer nonetheless!

    this game left me absolutely speechless, easily the most diverse and creative racer ever! and thats just the tip of the iceberg....... with a MASSIVE array of tracks and graphics that will make your eyes bleed with joy, this is the definative racing title and probably the only racing title you will ever need. the sense of speed is absolutely incredible and the damage model unparrallelledthis game left me absolutely speechless, easily the most diverse and creative racer ever! and thats just the tip of the iceberg....... with a MASSIVE array of tracks and graphics that will make your eyes bleed with joy, this is the definative racing title and probably the only racing title you will ever need. the sense of speed is absolutely incredible and the damage model unparrallelled and the customisation is off the charts too. for those who havent played this and are waiting for forza 4..... dont waste your money, this game is soo far ahead of the competition that we may have to wait for the next generation of consoles before anyone rivals this… Expand

    Other great racing title. Import Tuner Challenge can not be original, fresh, better, but is really funny. The system for personalize your car is great, the tracks are repetitive, the cars are cool. This game is funny, no more.

    Why do people hate this. Its just a slightly more realistic Wangan midnight! Same delveloper, Same tracks(on some games). Made by the tokyo extreme racer team. Its an awsome arcade racing game that would feel great if you use a wheel!

    For anyone who is a fan of the Tokyo Xtreme Racer games this one is a must buy. Import Tuner Challenge is a highway racer that takes place on the Tokyo Metropolitan Expressway, and does an excellent job at re-creating the actual Tokyo highway. The game looks great, with the graphics being a little out of date compared to newer games but still very good for a game that was released atFor anyone who is a fan of the Tokyo Xtreme Racer games this one is a must buy.     Players looking for something different and unique will find it with this game. Rather than racing to finish your laps in first you will have an 'SP' bar that diminishes when you either fall behind, hit walls or other vehicles, that alone makes this game one of a kind.
    With hundreds of rivals to race and 'wanderers' to challenge you will find hours of gameplay to enjoy.
    The customization in this game is also excellent and actually gives you a sense of personalization, far more than most games in the racer genre.
    The music is a little lame in this game when compared to the Tokyo Xtreme racer titles but does fit with the time period they were going for in this game.
    My only complaint with this game are the major lacking of vehicles you can customize. As in the Tokyo Xtreme Racer games the player was given a massive list of vehicles to choose from as the player beat rivals and unlocked more vehicles. Where as this game has 15 or so to choose from, somewhat limiting the player in that regard. However if you have never played a Tokyo Xtreme Racer game then this wont be a problem for you.

    Much worse than other games by Studio Genki, exclusive from Japan for the American console failed miserably. Bland, not comfortable. Wangan Midnight is certainly a little not the same game, but in general much better at this, especially his features with the engine overheating

    You know. this game is a great game with good graphic. good soundtrack. fun handling. great rendition of japan highway expressway. but... the long wangan straight section is missing. oh and the game have crazy customization. like you can turn the sedan into JTCC cars with the bodykits. sense of speed feel fast too. it a shame so far this is the last proper tokyo xtreme racer/Shutoko Battle game.

    Despite its lack of personality, variation or depth, Import Tuner Challenge isn't a terrible racer, and Japanse driving fanatics might get off on multiplayer duels and the realistically non-descript office buildings that pass for scenery.

    Graphics and sound aside, this is one of the stronger racing titles available on the Xbox 360, offering a unique racing experience that can’t be found in Need for Speed, Test Drive Unlimited, or any other titles on the market, and is easy to recommend to any speed freak who thinks as much about tuning as they do racing.
