Mar 16, 2011The single player portion of the game is lacking, since it has an obvious emphasis on multiplayer. But once you try it with a friend, the game shines. Everyone should try it (specially since it's free). I did and liked it a lot. Maybe it won't last a year or 6 months, but it's a good deal anyway. I know I had a lot of fun with friends.

Mar 23, 2011singleplayer is just a training mode, multiplayer can be extremely addictive if you play it with friends, be sure to recheck the live-multiplayer mode cause it was just OVERRUN by players at release
lets hope for a full price release!! -
Mar 18, 2014The game is decently fun even on multiplayer. Me and a buddy when we can't decide what to play, this is always a fall back for us. Although it seems to glitch every time I'm winning as a shooter against him, other than that, its got plenty of fun, especially for being a free game.

X-ONE Magazine UKFeb 12, 2011A few glaring flaws stop this well-designed, sociable title achieving perfection, but it should still be picked up by everyone. [Issue#68, p.100]

Jan 4, 2011Harms Way is a free game for the Xbox Live Marketplace that is worth a quick download. However, due to the lack of variation you will drop this game within the first couple of hours. Not even the mildly amusing multiplayer won't be able to change that.

Dec 17, 2010Harms Way is, if nothing else a fun multiplayer action racer and for the fantastic price of free, it shouldn't be missed by anyone.
