I mean when this game released, the only 1 thing that is a nitpick really was that Mirana Keyes' "To War" dialogue was a bit corny, other than that, this game was basically perfect. The Campaign story was just incredible, from going to the Ark, fighting with the Arbiter, to fighting with the Flood for one small moment, Killing the Prophet of Truth was spine tingling, and the sad deaths of Johnson and Miranda Keys made me cry. The was just that good. For the multiplayer, pretty much perfect if you have good practice. The battle rifle can be pretty difficult to use, but you can get pretty good at it, and with good practice with weapons, this is easily the best multiplayer of all time. Being able to play as Elites is always a plus. Forge mode was introduced in this game, and it was REVOLUTIONARY. Being able to play with the sandbox in the game to make modes and creations of our own was one of the best additions to a game ever put into the Halo games. Armor Customization was also added into this game, and Armor in this game at the time had basic progression, but overall, VERY good, and lets be real, we all wanted the Recon helmet. Halo 3 is one of the best games known in history, and it shows, and in my own opinion only one Halo game beats Halo 3. This game makes its stand in gaming history.… Expand

    The peak of Halo. An incredible conclusion to a masterful trilogy, a multiplayer that is still incredibly addictive, forge and custom games shaping the community and building futher on that fun, and a really nice way of sharing those creations too.     Gaming Perfection. It feels a little clunky compared to modern shooters, but nevertheless I wish I could have been old enough to play this game in its prime. There will never be a better shooter. Ever.

    They are all 10/10 games that could never remotley compare to the absolute majesty that is Halo 3. But then again... no interactive entertainment experience ever had such an impact on my life as Halo 3, and I will be blessed but doubtful that any gaming experience ever will again.

    Halo 3 is truly immaculate in every way. Its art style will stand the test of time as one of the greatest in history, upscaled and in 4K with ray tracing mods Halo 3 looks as good or BETTER than most next generation games based on the strength of its art style alone.

    Gameplay its literal perfection from start to finish each and every match, the penultimate hybrid of everything I love about Halo CE and Halo 2, two juggernaut FPS titles both 10/10 or higher, fused into one incomparable experience. Forge set the standard for console developed map creators for casual to hardcore gamers. Halo 3's ranking system is more addictive than coke, and vastly more satisfying. The armor customization is amazing, despite there being much less armor in Halo 3 than in Halo Reach, the quality of Halo 3's customization is as top tier as you can ever get.

    GOATED maps that will be played thousands of years later. Guardian is simply one of the finest arena maps ever developed. The Pit is the greatest symmetrical map ever designed in history. Valhalla is Blood Gulch on a thousand steroids, with graphics and physics that rival and exceed numerous video games from 2023 without any effort at all.

    Theatre mode is perfect. Weapons are as balanced as it gets with the perfect tuning between Halo CE's overpowered sandbox and Halo 2's underpowered sandbox (sans the slightly nerfed Battle Rifle). Theatre mode was a decade ahead of everything else in the industry to such a degree, that no other studio including Bungie themsleves has been able to replicate Halo 3's UI.

    Halo Infinite is much better than at launch, if they had triple the budget 343i could NEVER even begin to come close to Halo 3's untouchable design at every level. A must play for any FPS fans, and the only way to truly judge Halo is to experience this game firsthand. Most of my friends many of whom do not care for Halo will play Halo 3 for hours without apology, because this game is the greatest FPS of all time!    … Expand

    Simply incredible. The story is very good, the characters are extremely good, the map is beautiful and the gameplay is addictive.
    Better than beating this game alone, is beating it in co-op with a friend, it's a lot of fun.
    The enemies are not easy, their intelligence is even very good in my point of view, and they are very annoying in a certain part, when they combo you together, there    Simply incredible. The story is very good, the characters are extremely good, the map is beautiful and the gameplay is addictive.
    Better than beating this game alone, is beating it in co-op with a friend, it's a lot of fun.

    This is a strong contender for the greatest FPS of all time. It has impressive graphics that still hold up, the greatest multiplayer in any shooter ever, a great story, and massive levels with huge battles. Near perfection.

    For my money the best of the trilogy. Campaign is amazing, music and voice acting and art direction outstanding once again. Multiplayer is infinitely replayable, adding forge and replays was enormous. A near-perfect capstone to an iconic trilogy. Only complaint is that the campaign is on the shorter side and I miss Halo 2's prophet of truth voice.

    Pretty much a flawless game. All the missions are excellent in design and story. The enemy variety may have not been huge but there was so many vehicles and weapons the enemies can use it makes fighting them quite addictive and fun. Gun play is extremely enjoyable especially when using certain weapons like the BR and the beam rifle. My favourite mission is the Covenant and the best partsPretty much a flawless game. All the missions are excellent in design and story. The enemy variety may have not been huge but there was so many vehicles and weapons the enemies can use it makes fighting them quite addictive and fun. Gun play is extremely enjoyable especially when using certain weapons like the BR and the beam rifle. My favourite mission is the Covenant and the best parts involve taking down scarabs. The multiplayer was also amazing and addictive as well. Overall a masterclass of an FPS game.… Expand

    I'm gonna come out and say it. This is best halo game. The bit with the giant robots is sensational. i played this through with my friend and it was brilliant. Alien guns are **** though, but thats true for every halo i think. Also loved the flood level.

For 2007, the graphics really do shine what the Xbox 360 is capable of. I can see the hype for it back in 2007 and see why still to this day, Halo 3 is regarded as one of the best Halo games and a favourite among the fanbase. For 3 years running (2007-09), Halo 3 was the most popular and consistently played games on Xbox 360, with the player base always being in the tenth's of thousands worldwide. Another feature was introduced in Halo 3, Forge, a mode where you can mess around with maps and customise them to your liking. There really isn't a lack of content in this game. Completed the campaign? Try your luck on legendary or look for the hidden skulls that give you a new campaign experience when you play it. Work your way up in the rankings of multiplayer (which as of January 2022 has sadly shut down, so I haven't been able to experience it). Play co-op campaign with your friend.

    Halo 3 really is an important game. A historical landmark that shows how much games meant to the developers who made them, especially Bungie. When developers truly dedicate time and passion and love for what they create, they create an amazing game like this. Halo 3 really had a close relationship with the fanbase and the developer, Bungie were seen like heroes. It saddens me to see a game like this from 2007, compared to corporate cash grabs that get pushed out every year, half-completed with the rest of the game being update over time through live service or DLC's for £15+, going back to a game like Halo 3 is important to remind us how gaming was back then. Making games out of the passion of being a game developer and pleasing the fanbase whilst at the same time, being successful in doing so, rather than feeding the masses with mediocre and standard generic first person shooters, with no sense of reward that doesn't require whipping out your wallet to feel like you have unlocked something cool.

    Sadly even Halo has fallen into this pool with Halo Infinite, going back to the older games makes me really wish I could go back and relive these games in their prime, truly taking that time for granted. Didn't really know how good we had it back then. With this being said, I can't deny giving this game the first 10/10. There's a reason why Halo 3 is still being held to this high standard and communities such as Halo 3 Sunrise have pushed to reviving this game by hosting lobbies even after they've been shut, and that is the love this game has accumulated from developers who loved making games and were eager to show their passion projects, with money being a second thought.    … Expand

Es un juego muy bueno, cuenta con armas diferentes, pero algo desbalanceadas, algunas no hacen el daño que deberian, la historia es buena, ahora con los elites de aliados, lo malo que a la hora de jugar cooperativo, el segundo jugador tienen al inquisidor, que ya no tiene camuflaje y hace que ambos tengan armas diferentes, lo bueno que hay cinematicas especiales cuando hay dos jugadores.
    El Multijugador es muy bueno, ahora puedes editar algunas piezas de armadura, como cascos u hombreras, para tu Spartan o tu Elite, con algunos modos y mapas nuevos e Introducen el modo Forge de creacion de mapas.    … Expand

    This is where we finished the fight. but for some reason, they dug up the chiefs corpse over and over to try and milk his bones dry. This was peak Halo, and always will be. Reach and Odst were also great.
    But this is where i lived for about 5 years. Halo was my favorite franchise, but it is dead now.

    Corporate greed kills gaming, but back then, this game was truly alive.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The Halo Franchise so far was already really really good. With CE starting the series and Halo 2 continuing it after CE. Unfortunately, a lot of the game had to be cut due to time constraints and this is why Halo 3 was ever even made. And I couldn't be happier. It's gameplay is responsive as hell and relatively easy to pick up and pretty hard to master. It's graphics were stunning for a game made in 2007 and honestly still holds up really well today. The story has been downgraded from two, but It is very minor in my opinion. There's are a few nit picks I have about it, like certain difficulty spikes, but those really aren't a problem in the grand scheme of things. The enemy AI has been improved/tweaked a bit aswell, and there's no more fighting elites, this would be a kind of bad thing if you didn't fight alongside them which is just kinda cool. And spoiler alert, I really really like that part where you teamed up with the flood, not many people do, but I am one of them. So overall excellent game, and you won't regret buying it.… Expand

    The opening is amazing and the story and gameplay is really good plus the graphics hold up to this day and it was one of the last times I discovered hope in Halo

    This game is simply put a masterpiece. It takes everything that worked in the first two Halo games and adds in some new things to make it stand out. The gameplay is fun, the graphics are still good and the story's simple yet enjoyable. It's overall a blast to play through and a must-have addition to everyone's collection.

    HALO 3 is a game that defined an entire console generation. With its bombastic campaign and fantastic multiplayer that set the bar for online shooters for the 7th generation. Along with Its forge and theater modes that really brought the entire Halo fan base together in what were new creative ways. Halo 3 improves upon Halo 2 in almost every way the weapon sandbox has been expanded andHALO 3 is a game that defined an entire console generation. The game visually still holds up pretty well for a over 14 year old game. The story managed to conclude a trilogy in a satisfying way and fulfilling way, But if I had to criticize Halo 3 I'm not a fan of the prophets voice change nor his change in character as he feels more like a one dimensional bad guy in this one. And the fact there's no arbiter levels is a shame as it felt like he didn't really have much to do in this game. I would of liked him to playa bigger role in the game and I would of liked to see more characterization in the elites a s a whole such as the shipmaster. While I'm talking about Elites the switch to brutes as the main enemy I'm not a big fan of. They are fun to fight nut not as fun I feel and the elites in this game you just don't see enough of them and there kinda more doofy in this game then previous titles. Other then that the campaign is a great time non the less. And on a final note the multiplayer in Halo 3 is some of the best in he series and I cant count the many hours spent playing in my life.… Expand

    Top tier halo game. Fantastic campaign with coop or solo. The online PvP matchmaking is just purely some of the best ever. For the 360 and the era, the graphics are amazing. Only not given a 10 because nothing is perfect. A work of art.

    Bungie had everything going for them when starting Halo 3. There were no tight deadlines, the team knew the kind of story they wanted to tell and what gameplay worked and what didn't.

    The gameplay kept betting on that power fantasy the series is known for, with all the weapons and gameplay additions from previous titles, present, yet again. Now, the player is also able to use different abilities that work as pickups, similar to weapons, that can create new gameplay scenarios, though I didn't see myself using them very often. Thanks to the story from Halo 2, in its sequel your main enemy are the Brutes, however, while menacing, they didn't feel like a big threat, since, when compared to their previous iteration, they're much weaker and their design isn't as interesting.
    The soundtrack was, as always, a masterpiece and it knew the right moments to play. It felt like the culmination of every piece written before it.
    The story, however, left me feeling slightly disappointed. The Halo 2 promise of an all out war on Earth was finally realized in this game, but it felt like some elements that made Halo 2's campaign extremely interesting were abandoned. The Arbiter, perhaps due to some of the fan backlash, took a back seat and felt like a cheap copy of the character we were introduced to in the previous game. The same thing happened to the previously established main antagonists, becoming nothing more than some Saturday morning cartoon villains. The level design was so good, however, that the story didn't bother me that much.

    Overall, Halo 3 left me feeling slightly disappointed with its story and the expectations the previous game built, simply weren't met. However, the amazing gameplay and sandbox, mixed with the simple yet genius mission design and environments made me forget these issues. The ending was a beautiful way to send off the Master Chief until someone would need him again...    … Expand

Equipment really makes each encounter more dynamic and fun as it adds another level of thought behind what you do so it feels more rewarding when you utilise equipment well. The guns are the most balanced they have been since CE so each weapon feels viable even on higher difficulties. The first few missions are quite standard and slow but still a good introduction to the game, however the game really begins to pick up after Tsavo Highway with The Storm, Floodgate, The Ark and The Convenant. These 4 missions are 11/10 each being so unique and influencial in terms of story but also fun af. The scale of Halo 3 is portrayed perfectly in these missions ranging from 2 scarabs at once, a flood infestation, and the all out war on the ark. The Ending to the campaign is the best yet with another warthog run but on an astronomical scale compared to CE and much more intense. There is also plenty of Easter eggs and collectibles throughout the campaign like skulls and terminals which add to the lore and also gameplay. The only complaint that i have is that heroic and legendary difficulty is way too unfair while in vehicles and being shot by vehicles.
    In terms of multiplayer this is peak arena shooters, the maps are great, sandbox perfect as well as game modes like griffball on top of the huge amount of custom games.
    Forge is brilliant allowing for you to make your own game modes and mess around with sandbox
    Theatre was a nice addition to the game so you can go back and watch replays    … Expand

As fases no Halo 3 não são mais impossíveis elas exigem sim um certo nivel habilidades e que você consiga entender o conceito das fases e como derrotar os inimigos um exemplo disso é o The Ark que na primeira vez parece ser muito difícil lidar com os Scarab mas você pega um jeito de uma maneira que você consegue facilmente enfrentar 2 Scarab que seram apresentados em poucas fases depois em ''The Covernant''

This was the first is the first to have (on an Xbox system at least) Forge mode, and I would spend hours on it. Forge mode got better in games after this, but I still get enjoyment out of 3's Forge.     The final installment in the Halo Saga was quite a big game when it was released, i'm not joking but even my mom was excited for this game after i graduated from college i introduced her to the halo franchise.
    But how does halo 3 end the trilogy? The multiplayer was the best when halo 3 got released and today is a classic multiplayer experience but i'm here for the campaign. I have a very little problem with halo 3 before i get into the REAL stuff and that's the voice acting, characters Truth and Miranda voice actors were changed between Halo 2 and 3 and that is a bit annoying while playing through the campaign. But Halo 3 was a near perfect end for the trilogy, mh only problem with the campaign is that it could have used more build up and challenge, thr game felt a bit short compared to the first two games but Halo 3 is the true masterpiece that everyone hoped for and deserved the "finish the fight" slogan.    … Expand

    Finally a good halo game
    On my quest to play through all of the halo games before infinite, after playing 3 halo games before this one, and not liking any of them.. im so happy tht the halo franchise finally got fun for me here in halo 3, and is hands down my favorite halo game so far… Could I tell you whts going on in the story.. no.. something about finding Cortana, destoring the halo maybe? Idk I couldn’t follow, story isn’t halo strong suit, but what is its strong suit this time isjust how fun it actually is to play… this felt like a modern doom game… halo as a series still has its issues of just unfun driving sections and horrible progress indicators.. though they seem to have at least tried by sometimes putting markers on the screen for you… but not nearly enough, as the I have no idea what im supposed to be doing thought hit my mind a handful of times during my 6 hours run through this campaign.. but im happy to say the rest of this game is so good, especially compared to its predicessors and reach.. the weapons this time feel so hectic and fun to balance through.. for the first time in halo history I got to know the guns and feel like my loadout actually mattered, and things do ocassinally get repeettive, but the campaign felt much more varied, I loved the level design and splash of character and life in some of these levels.. and the focus on master chief.. no character switching here..
    I was losing hope for this series, but halo 3 got my hopes back up and im excited to play through the rest of the series this year,

    It's the addition of the Forge level editor and the saved films that give the game an even longer set of legs, legs that will probably keep you running at full speed until Bungie figures out where, exactly, to go from here.

    Halo 3 is the best Xbox 360 game to date. The single-player campaign and storyline are both very strong, but it's Forge and the Saved Films features that will likely go down in history as Bungie's crowning achievements. They've basically taken everything great about the series and improved upon it in every way, then added some amazing new features that we'll be using for years to come.
