    Minor improvements from FIFA 09, the Ultimate Team feature which you even had to pay for in this game which is outrageous, just EA Sports trying to make some more money from the fortune which they already make. One bad thing about this game is that in FIFA 09 the achievements kept you playing the game which was quite good as at least you got your money's worth. However in FIFA 10 theMinor improvements from FIFA 09, the Ultimate Team feature which you even had to pay for in this game which is outrageous, just EA Sports trying to make some more money from the fortune which they already make. One bad thing about this game is that in FIFA 09 the achievements kept you playing the game which was quite good as at least you got your money's worth. However in FIFA 10 the achievements are unappealing and whereas in FIFA 09 it was to win a match with 10 men, it is now to win a match with 10 men on legendary or higher, what about the players who are not so experienced at FIFA? Overall I think this game was worse than FIFA 09 in all areas (features, graphics, music) and that is unacceptable.… Expand

    Multiplayer is fun but manager mode is near unplayable after a couple of seasons due to obscene number of bugs. At the moment in premier league on manager mode playing against a Hull City in 6th and a Hull city in 18th both with the same record and number of points while the real Hull City is in the championship.

    It is not possible to play fifa 10 against a good, human opponent, and still give it a 9. It is ridicolous. EA said that it was too hard to score in last years game, and that this has become more balanced this year. Well, first of all, scoring in FIFA 09 was not hard at all, and this year it has just become ridicolously easy. The defenders act like a bunch of unorganized sheep. Well, first of all, scoring in FIFA 09 was not hard at all, and this year it has just become ridicolously easy. The defenders act like a bunch of unorganized sheep. The bugs and possible exploits in defence play are countless. And needless to say, it provides a lot of frustration for players that understand the game tacticly to see your defenders act like clowns in situations that normally would be second thought, creating completely unneccesary chances for your opponent. They don't follow runs, they turn far too slow and the offside "line" closely resembles a square. Aside from defensive play, the game is good, however the chip is FAR too easy to execute. If you think this game is good, then you're probably not that good either. Against the CPU, its fine, because the CPU does not execute the exploits that skilled user-controlled players will. Graphics are good, online play is laggy and exploits with custom tactics need to be fixed. To me, it seemes that this game is unfinished and untested. The CPU has not adopted to the new functions such as skilled and 360' degree dribbling. A good game overall, but some gamebrakers that completely ruined the experience for me.     The game is nothing compared to fifa 09. It is not smooth. It is just a roster update. I do not have fun playing it, and I am enraged that people think this is a good game. I don't get it

    Defensive AI will play like a U11 team unless you are on World Class, and then the CPU offense is too good for all but the most serious FIFA player. Physics still has a way to go to match PES. CPU teammates will ignore the ball if not from a pass or cross (shot deflection will roll right by a CPU player and they will show no interest). Still no resolution to the auto-switch problem. Too Defensive AI will play like a U11 team unless you are on World Class, and then the CPU offense is too good for all but the most serious FIFA player. Physics still has a way to go to match PES. CPU teammates will ignore the ball if not from a pass or cross (shot deflection will roll right by a CPU player and they will show no interest). Still no resolution to the auto-switch problem. Too many bugs to count, especially in Manager Mode. Lounge Mode is still not hooked into the player sign-ons. At least they added a training mode (try to find it though!) and fixed the throw-ins and most goal keeper issues. It's amazing to me that game reviewers write glowing reviews of this game year after year seemingly without digging deeper than a single match and no knowledge of the Beautiful Game.… Expand

    This game is unplayable. Passes kept going in directions I wasn't aiming, shots kept going to the moon even with no power on them, team wouldn't defend and would lose the ball if they got within 5 feet of the closest player. They would even run into themselves and both fall over. Players refused to do skill moves and when they did it would be about 5 seconds after I inputed it. In managerThis game is unplayable. Passes kept going in directions I wasn't aiming, shots kept going to the moon even with no power on them, team wouldn't defend and would lose the ball if they got within 5 feet of the closest player. They would even run into themselves and both fall over. Players refused to do skill moves and when they did it would be about 5 seconds after I inputed it. In manager mode players I attempted to sign multiple players and they said they had better offers elsewhere despite getting paid less and getting a lower transfer fee. Despite being on the 360 the graphics look so jittery and low res I thought I was playing FIFA 05 while on drugs.

    After giving my best attempts at the game for over two hours, the game continued to be an unfun and unresponsive mess to the point I figured it wasn't worth mine or anyone else's time and threw it in the trash. I've gotten more fun out of older and newer titles and both have had better controls and difficulty compared to this hot garbage.    … Expand

    Having convincingly overtaken its main rival last year, FIFA 10 nevertheless consolidates its lead with great authority. Last year, I said FIFA feels like football, rewards football, and punishes football for football reasons. The difference between FIFA 09 and FIFA 10 is that the latter knows exactly where the former fell short of that, and makes up the distance in almost every case.

    FIFA 10 is all the best a football fan could imagine, you simply have to have it. The score is the right prize for a nearly perfect game that deserves the right prize for the work done in the last years that brought the average arcade game of the past, to the nearest thing to real football actually available. You'll stop playing FIFA 10 only when FIFA 11 will be on shelves. Great job EA, great job Moore, great job Rutter. You have to play it!
