If you go into it knowing that stretches of it can be aggravating, either because they push your skills to the test or make you question the gameplay, it should do the same for you.
-
This isn’t an exceptionally bad game, but it is an extremely mediocre one. The movie is a must-see, but unless you’re a huge fan of the film (or desperate for an Xbox 360 platformer), you should stay away from this one.
-
The movie is well worth the admission. The game, on the other hand, is a mixed bag and will be enjoyed most after you have viewed the movie.
-
Ratatouille has its moments, it will definitely appeal to fans of the film in terms of location and the characters.
-
Xbox World 360 Magazine UKA cheery enough companion to the movie, let down by huge frustrations. [Christmas 2007, p.85]
-
Basically, only play Ratatouille if you're the most hardcore fan of the movie, and you just adore rat platforming action.
-
A mediocre platformer with very serious problems with its gameplay and sound elements.
-
The game sure looks pretty, but hopefully your tastes are refined enough to browse the menu a bit longer.
-
Official Xbox MagazineA slick yet largely routine exercise in jumping, balancing, and fast-twitch hand-eye coordination. [Sept 2007, p.76]
-
Competent in its own right, playable even, but deep down as nutritionally void as the popcorn you'll scoff while watching the movie.
