    The game's saving grace is the awesome graphics and sound, solid multiplayer and the times in a race when everything just comes together. All flaws aside, there is a decent off-road racer at the heart of Dirt 3. You may just get a little frustrated finding it.

    Dirt 3 is a good mixture of traditional rally and modern car sports like gymkhana. A distinct and good driving experience combined with great graphics and music, overshadows the lack of inspiration in the single player campaign, and make Dirt 3 a driving game petrolheads surely will enjoy.

    Dirt 3 is a fine game and the action is as quality as always, the introduction of Gymkhana is a welcome one and offers a new challenge. However some baffling decisions on content stop the game being a true great of the genre. It almost feels like a first in a series, rather than the third.

    In the end, Dirt 3 is a game with slick presentation, beautiful cars, stunning environments, and solid racing, but no depth. It's a game that does nothing wrong, but never wants to achieve anything greater.

    Dirt 3 is a fine game and worth playing. But if you take your sequels or your driving games seriously, you're going to be disappointed to discover that it's no Dirt 2.

Top notch arcade rally action, along the same lines as the previous games. Soundtrack is less annoying than other Dirt games. One new introduction to Dirt 3 is Gymkhana, yes, the Ken Block youtube thing. What seems fun on paper is actually fun for about a minute and then gets forced on you for the rest of the game.
