  1. With a solid list of hard-earned Achievement Points you might just forget that Atari failed to deliver any online modes for the game. Well, almost.
  2. The fact that there’s no online multiplayer support is a big downer too, with leaderboards representing its only online presence.

A worthy download if you love hardcore shooters. [Issue#23, p.97]

I can't help but play the enhanced versions and think that these worthless add-ons drove up development costs and therefore the price.
  5. Centipede and Millipede are the sort of simple, repetitive, no frills shooters you can get more than enough fun out of by playing the free trial version of, so we should be grateful to Microsoft for allowing people to find out why they probably shouldn't bother with this one.

It's all very limited and mind-numbingly repetitive - but the game's also challenging. [July 2007, p.105]

Trying to control centipede with ajoystick is a losing proposition.
