Jun 25, 2013Extremely funny and surprisingly poignant, Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep is the Borderlands 2 magnum opus.
-
Jun 25, 2013With eight to 10 hours of brand-new enemies and locations that have been built from the ground up to look like nothing else in all of Borderlands, it offers a great value, especially to those who can appreciate the cavalcade of nerd culture references it makes.
-
Jul 30, 2013Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep is the pick of a series of top-notch add-ons, and the best Borderlands expansion since The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned. If you own Borderlands 2, this is totally, utterly essential.
-
Jul 8, 2013Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep is the type of DLC I’d place up there with the likes of Undead Nightmare and Old World Blues in that it gives something completely different while still having it feel like the original game.
-
Jul 1, 2013This is how DLCs or sequels should be made: by avoiding the "more of the same" formula. No sameness here, it's a great addition, with a lot of humour and unique gameplay. One of the greatest DLCs in recent years.
-
Jul 1, 2013With a fun story and a great setting, Assault on Dragon Keep is Borderlands 2’s best DLC yet.
-
Jun 25, 2013Tiny Tina’s snarky adventure manages to dance on the precarious barrier between shooters and fantasy RPGs with surprising dexterity, and the amount of content more than justifies its price. For those disappointed that Dragon’s Keep marks the final DLC for season-pass holders, take heart: Gearbox saved the best for last.
-
Jun 25, 2013Looking back, although I did enjoy Captain Scarlett and Mr. Torgue, neither of them were nearly as in-depth as this DLC, which is a benchmark for future Gearbox add-ons. Although they could have stood to have gone a little farther with the concept, if you can only choose one campaign, this is easily it.
-
Jun 30, 2013Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon's Keep is a slightly eccentric combination of a bunch of elements that usually can't be mixed. Tina's fantastical reimagining of the main story from a multi-functional role: it's an ode and parody to all sorts of geeky things, gives more insight into the characters of Borderlands 2 and critiques average game design. Humor and tragic are being mixed in the same way as the main story, and there's enough to keep you entertained for a while.
-
Jun 25, 2013Lack of character progression aside, this is a substantial chunk of DLC, lasting 12 to 15 hours and including some great payoffs at the end. You’ll find tantalizing mysteries to explore along the way, and a few more side quests unlock after the main quest. Assault on Dragon Keep is the funniest and most expansive bit of post-launch content for Borderlands 2. Fantasy nerds, this one’s for you.
-
Jul 4, 2013Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep is maybe the best add-on for Borderlands 2, and is also certainly worth a play.
-
Aug 8, 2013Easily the longest of the DLC released to date, Dragon Keep clocks in at a cool twelve to fifteen hours, possibly even more if you are the kind of player that explores every last nook and cranny of the map. Providing excellent value for money and to date the best reason to go back to Pandora, Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep is a must for anyone remotely interested in going back to Borderlands 2.
-
Jun 25, 2013The best really has been saved for last – assuming you find Tiny Tina funny – but even if you don’t this fantasy-themed romp is a great way to say goodbye to Borderlands 2.
-
Jun 25, 2013Vault Hunters make a little jump in a fantasy world made of skeletons, dwarfs, and wizards… an entertaining marriage between Borderlands, Fable and Skyrim, and the last major DLC for this incredible piece of software.
-
Jun 25, 2013It all works together to make this the funniest and most thoughtful expansion of the Season Pass. Whether you've got the energy to go back and blow the cobwebs off your old gun hoard is up to you. We'd definitely recommend it.
-
Jun 25, 2013Does it work? Not entirely. But it is, unsurprisingly, just the kind of trick one of those special long-running TV shows might try to pull now and then - a bit of heavy-handed schmaltz to break up the glib anarchy, a lunge at tonal variation to bring depth to some increasingly harshly delineated cast members.
-
Jul 16, 2013While I enjoyed my time questing, the fact that I barely gained a level and found almost nothing of value the entire time was really disheartening. Overall I had fun, but the experience fell short of what it could have been.
