It's only right that the best online first person shooter of 2010 is rewarded with the best DLC package of 2010. DICE has once again unleashed a superbly executed entry in the Battlefield franchise that provides Bad Company 2 with a well deserved new lease of life.

One of the best multiplayer games of 2010 just got better. The Vietnam setting means that most of the hi-tech gadgets from the main game are gone, which leads to a combat experience that is more up close and personal. The new levels are excellent and sufficiently different, the visuals are great, and the audio nothing short of fantastic. If you like Bad Company 2, this is an absolute must-have.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2: Vietnam is an outstanding add-on that will rejuvenate your love for carefully crafted multiplayer component of Bad Company 2. Making a purchasing decision is easy, if you still own and love Battlefield, this more Battlefield to fuel your addictive.

The atmosphere of Battlefield Bad Company 2 Vietnam is great. Sound and graphics are overwhelming. The maps are fun to play although there is nothing new in terms of gameplay.

What a great add-on. Bad Company 2 has already been able to grab more of my attention than Modern Warfare 2 ever could. Although in Vietnam, there aren't any gameplay changes or balance tweaks, but when i'm playing on the well designed maps, it feels kind of different – very nice! Moreover, the atmosphere is extraordinary, especially because of the sound.

It's limited without feeling restricted, and at no point will you feel like there isn't enough content to keep you coming back. Most importantly, though, it's enough change to make something you've done to death feel fresh and exciting again. It reminds you why you were obsessed with it in the first place.

Priced at 15 bucks, Vietnam occupies that middle ground between a full-blown sequel or expansion, and a less ambitious map pack.

Battlefield Bad Company 2: Vietnam is one of the best DLC out there. EA and Dice did a great job to revamp a great game and to grant more fun to the huge community. If you like the Bad Company 2 multiplayer, you'll love this DLC. Buy it with no regrets!

The same level of care and attention to detail you would find in one of DICE's retail offerings has been put into all aspects of Vietnam. It's not uncommon to see studios put their "B" team on downloadable content, but it sure doesn't feel as if that was the case here.

Of the five there's only one genuine dud. Phu Bai Valley is an indistinct, formless and aesthetically muddy mess, made even worse if you play it in Rush mode with its arbitrary barriers. The other four, however, are some of the best Battlefield maps we've seen.

While it keeps the same gameplay modes as the original, the changes made due to the adaptation the the Vietnam war, sometimes make it feel like a new game more than an add-on, seeing the price.

Vietnam is probably the best add on Dice could create for the Battlefield Bad Company 2 franchise. It's up to the player to evaluate if the 1200 MP or 13€ for 5 maps and the other additions are the right price to ask.

Bad Company 2: Vietnam is the best option to add extra value to the best on-line action shooter this far.

In many ways this feels like a total conversion of Bad Company 2's multiplayer, which changes the way the game plays a surprising amount. Not everyone will welcome this, but there's certainly a lot to love.

Battlefield Bad Company 2 - Vietnam transports players to a whole new setting and delivers the same large scale, intense action fans expect, but yet expands the experience by emphasizing team play and skill to make it a truly worthy add-on.

Excellent maps, a focus on close-range combat, and great period atmosphere keep this downloadable add-on from feeling like more of the same.

With five new maps, new weapons and vehicles, Vietnam is a good multiplayer-expansion to 2010s best first person shooter. Although a new mode would have given the package more meat to the bone, there is plenty of napalm to go around.

A generous and competent addition to Bad Company 2.

Battlefield Bad Company 2 Vietnam -- as a $15 expansion -- is a must. The maps are excellent and several aspects of the game feel different, but still balanced, like they did in the original game.

A useful expansion that puts an appreciably different spin on the original gameplay, to the point where many are likely to prefer this tour of duty.

The Battlefield games are very much designed for the cognoscenti, and those in the know will rush to download Vietnam.

Still, an opportunity has been missed. EA has the resources, and DICE has the talent, to put together a fantastic Vietnam game, one that delves rather deeper into the setting than weapon rosters and track lists. Instead, the pair have treated Vietnam as a Flavour of the Month.
