    Taken in the recommended small doses, there's tons of play value in this 800 MS point title. Fans of classic shooters shouldn't pass up this opportunity to play one of the looniest and best examples of the genre.

    Absolutely. Bangai-O is similar, but not quite like a typical arcade-style "bullet hell" shooter, since you have more effective ways of fighting back. So if that brand of insanity doesn't appeal to you, perhaps Bangai-O's will. Not to mention that it's better and cheaper than its DS predecessor.

    The game is confusing, and hectic, more so than other Treasure shooters, but it's also one of the funnest bullet hell (missile hell? Laser hell? Soccer ball hell?) shoots I've ever played.

    Bangai-o HD: Missile Fury is the best version of the Treasure classic. The combination of perfect controls and awesome gameplay creates a fantastic experience for every hardcore gamers out there. The lack of the offline multiplayer and the problems of the net-code during the online co-op are a shame, and partially ruin this masterpiece.

    This is a great shoot'em up but only recommended for hardcore fans of the genre. Its difficulty is insane, and although very satisfying when we overcome a level, it is frustrating most of the time.

    Shmups are hardcore enough, but Bangai-O HD: Missile Fury somehow feels like a niche unto itself. At least death is served up à la carte, so you can move between stages at will if you die three times.

    Treasure offers another Xbox Live Arcade remake of one of its former glory, after Ikaruga and waiting Radiant Silvergun. Bangai-O HD: Missile Fury adds some interesting options such as co-op, revise the control system experiencing Geometry Wars double-stick and enhances the level editor. On balance, however, this remake proves difficult for novices with its rather steep difficulty curve, while those who have already fleeced on Dreamcast or Nintendo DS will hardly muster the impetus necessary for another take.

    Bangai-O HD: Missile Fury is colorful, loud and fast-paced. Either you love this kind of game or you hate it. Very nice to see an editor in such a game.

Unfortunately, you won't win, because despite the editor being the strongest learning tool in the universe, you won't put the effort in to learn.
