    I like how the control is difficult, and somewhat realistic. Dealing with the crazy terrain is what's challenging and interesting about the game. I would most compare gameplay to Smuggler's Run, but racing instead of smuggling. The environments are massive, varied, and just plain fun for offroading. With that said, the single player racing mode is tough. But I really appreciate how they don't use elasticband ai to fake close racing like most games (Need For Speed I'm looking at you). Although Baja is yet another racer on the 360, I think it's one of the best, and most unique on the system.… Expand

    This is the best off-road racing game I have ever played. The racing genre is my favourite, so I've played a lot of racing games. The learning curve is definitely big on this game, as it even took me a short while to get used to it, but I'm glad I took the time because I have been having so much fun since.     This game contains some excellent, realistic driving experience for offroading (Own a jeep myself) but it is masked by a terrible carreer mode and an overall lackluster presentation. I find myself beating the campaign just to unlock more stuff to go into freeride.     one of the first and only games I played on Xbox and I say... this game was made for Xbox because on PS3 it's bad and on PC it's horrible.

    This game has a bad gameplay but the destruction of vehicles and the visual effects are great

    You are almost always riding the finest line between screaming along somewhat stably and totally losing it, and in that sense, Baja succeeds tremendously. Those kinds of stakes may not appeal to everyone, however, and the majority of people who tend to like finishing races may not need all of the incredible realism that an intense sim like Baja has to offer.

    At times, it’s an edge-of your seat experience that gives you a sense of accomplishment for sliding across the finish line in one piece. Other times, it’s a confounding mix of erratic handling, insane difficulty and drab repetition.
