Oct 13, 2012Angry Birds Trilogy is exactly what you'd expect: the Angry Birds fun you're familiar with, but in high-definition and better controls. The addition of Kinect functionality doesn't really do the game any good, but the controller is more than enough to have your share of Angry Birds fun.
-
Oct 28, 2012It's really hard to mark this game, taking into account you could get the same content on other platforms way cheaper than this. However it's a really good choice for those who'd like to try the series comfortably at home and haven't played it before.
-
Oct 9, 2012Angry Birds Trilogy as a fine port, no doubting that, those that enjoyed the experience on mobile platforms will enjoy that same experience on console. However the lack of Angry Birds Space and not being an XBLA release do leave a bit of a sour taste and takes away some of the shine.
-
Oct 7, 2012No matter how pretty they are on the big screen or how the presentation is re-packaged, it's still re-packaged. And for much, much more money than before.
-
Sep 28, 2012It's still fun to play and has hours worth of content to conquer, but the Kinect controls and lack of new games keep it from being something for everyone.
-
Sep 25, 2012It's not the sort of game that works well when you want to cozy up on the couch for a few hours. It becomes repetitive, and you will come up with all sorts of new profanities when doing the same thing over and over on the same level miraculously works because that one brick fell slightly to the left. Angry Birds is a fun game, but the console is not where it belongs.
-
Sep 25, 2012We'd recommend this Trilogy more if most of its content wasn't available for free or a lot less money on other platforms. But what's here is still plenty addictive, challenging you with many hours of fun.
-
Oct 14, 2012Angry Birds Trilogy keeps intact all the original games' qualities, but it belongs to in pockets much more than your living room. And the price feels too high, especially when all three games are available elsewhere for free or at much lower prices.
-
Nov 1, 2012When it comes down to the quality of the port, these are arguably the best versions available. But no matter how high the production value is, or how flawless the port is, it's still a port of a game made for mobile devices, and at a much, much higher price than what we're used.
-
Oct 10, 2012Angry Birds Trilogy certainly benefits from the more extravagant presentation options that a TV allows, and in bringing Rovio's juggernaut to consoles it has a basic "does what it says on the box" appeal - but there's clearly a lot more that could have been done beyond bluntly porting the levels across.
-
Oct 4, 2012With controller in hand and one bird left in your arsenal, eliminating that final elusive pig as satisfying as ever. Combined with rich, colourful visuals and bucketload of content, Angry Birds Trilogy is an attractive prospect. Unfortunately, however, poorly implemented Kinect controls and a hefty price tag means that while Angry Birds Trilogy offers the same addictive gameplay experience, players are better suited sticking to the touchscreen originals.
-
Oct 11, 2012It's a shame as Angry Birds is a great game and in terms of high production quality and smoothness, this is possibly the definitive version. However, definitive or not, its certainly not enough of a tune up to warrant the difference in price.
-
Nov 8, 2012Angry Birds Trilogy just feels like simple cash-raking from a franchise that's displayed little-to-no creativity since the first bird was fired.
