  1. If it weren’t for the online multiplayer and map editor modes, there wouldn’t be much to say about Age of Booty. But this game wasn’t designed to be played as a single player game so a lot can be forgiven.
  2. While not devoid of fun moments, overall Age of Booty feels more like an endurance match than a strategy game in which the first one to slip up loses.
  3. As a single-player experience, Age of Booty is frustrating and poorly balanced. Take it online, however, and you've got something that's almost worth the 800-Point asking price.
  4. This pirate-themed strategy game is accessible enough to be enjoyed by just about anyone.

Awesome multiplayer mode. It is a simple RTS game - but has lots of strategic depth - and is a real hoot when you get a good team together.Awesome multiplayer mode. It is a simple RTS game - but has lots of strategic depth - and is a real hoot when you get a good team together. You really need a headset for multiplayer to work properly i.e. communication with your team is important!

Production values are very high and I expect to be playing this addictive game for many months to come.

For 800 points - this is really is XBLA bargain of the year.

Get plundering you scurvy dogs! Yar!

It combines some really deep strategy elements with a stunningly simple interface that's easy for anyone to pick up and play. The theme, visuals and sound track are all good cheeky fun and go a long way towards emjamcomg tje ex[eroemce/ The single player 'challenges' are fun but this game truly shines in multiplayer mode which sports a plethora of different maps and team play scenarios. This game likely won't make your pulse poind, but it *will* provide hours and hours of lively, low impact fun, and after all isn't that what gaming is all about? Full Review »
