    A tragic waste of a great licence. Choice of 90's jrpg retro graphics is baffling and adds nothing to game. Gameplay gets old within first 10 minutes. Voiceover is ok but rest of audio is boring and bland. Get a free adventure time app for your phone instead or just watch the cartoon.

    This game is my guilty pleasure. Like it's predecessor, Adventure Time EtDBIDK is a Zelda spin off. However, unlike last time when it was a Zelda II spin off, this one is a 2D dungeon crawler meant to represent the original Zelda game. Now, I haven't completed the first two games, but I can tell that the first one is good for a spin off of a Zelda game that was worse than the original, butThis game is my guilty pleasure. Like it's predecessor, Adventure Time EtDBIDK is a Zelda spin off. However, unlike last time when it was a Zelda II spin off, this one is a 2D dungeon crawler meant to represent the original Zelda game. Now, I haven't completed the first two games, but I can tell that the first one is good for a spin off of a Zelda game that was worse than the original, but the second Adventure Time game is the opposite, as I like it less than Hey Ice King. Now, you can play in multiplayer, and a unique feature is how you can play as a majority of the cast and they all have different stats and abilities and can hold different gear and how the dungeon is randomly generated. Now, what's else is unique about this game? Well, whenever you wish to re-enter the dungeon, you're forced to give up all the money you haven't spent yet. I never said being unique was good, and I truly hate that aspect. Also, the game is balls to the walls hard, so it's like shoot-em-ups meet dungeon-crawlers. You can get weapons from time to time, but the chances that you find a good one are a little low, so you'll have to hope for the best. But I won't say that it's that bad of a game, and that I got a kick out of it. But be warned, for if you choose to get the 3DS version, the characters just say "Wa-wa-wa" and you won't be able to play in multiplayer which makes the 3DS version even harder.… Expand

    Ultra die-hard series addicts will find some reward in a handful of lively but short cutscenes, but overall this licensed title lacks the joy and entertainment of its source material.

    A mediocre experience made a little better with co-op play. Possibly a good weekend game with a friend or two, especially during a new game release lull often seen in December and January.
