    Motion is surprisingly good party game. Besides shaking, Nintendo has invented other uses for wiimote. This is harmless casual fun, which can be used to replace board games or extremely dull holiday photograph marathon. [Aug 2011]

    Even if the Motion controls don't make this game better, there are 4 new modes for the ones who like this game, like me.

    The idea behind this game is to features the Wii MotionPlus controller's new capabilities. Unfortunately, Wii Play: Motion does not even entirely deliver in that department. Noticed a few annoying glitches while playing 3 or 4 games out of the 12 included. Having played all Wii Sports, Wii Sports Resort and it's younger brother, Wii Play, I can say without a doubt that this sequel is theThe idea behind this game is to features the Wii MotionPlus controller's new capabilities. I got a "been there, done that" feeling when playing the first time and none of the games made me want to come back for more. Despite the fact that you'll probably get bored of solo play within the first hour of gaming, if you can find a group of friends to play along, there's still a good amount of fun you can get with this bundle. In a nutshell, buy this bundle for the remote, not the game and enjoy whatever fun it gives you but don't expect to be amazed this time around.… Expand

    Better than the original Wii Play, but it still doesn't achieve the pick up and play feel of Wii Party and Wii Sports.

    This sequel to Wii Play has a broader range of mini games that certainly allows a fun competition with a friend or to top your own high score. It is a letdown unfortunately, the purpose was to showcase the Wii Motion Plus, which it does not do effectively.

It was never meant to be an awfully extensive game, since it's main purpose was to show off the Wii Motion Plus controller, but it is still quite a boring and short-lived game. I didn't really enjoy any of the twelve games on offer. For example, you may be skimming rocks, flying with an umbrella or seeing how many scoops you can get on an iceWii Play Motion is a game that fails to excite.     A terrible game that has absolutely no content worthy of holding even a 2 year olds attention.
    That's exactly why wii party U sold so bad, people realize these shallow empty games aren't worth paying for when they have iphones.

    Wii Play the original WAS flawed but it was fine but this one acts like the wii doesn't HAVE motion controls when it does. The game lacks a lot and the games are bland and repetitive. Wii Play is better than this.

    I haven't played too much of this game, but I have seen enough to know that I basically feel the same for this one as I do for the first Wii Play, just without the nostalgia. It's still a good choice for Wii owners, just remember to have a Wii mote that has a Motion Plus attachment or one that has it already built in.

    I mean, it's a really decent, no good Wii game.
    It was never meant to be an Ultra epic game.
    And for only 10$ extra? let's go buy it!

    A really cool game to play with friends or family. If you’re alone this is not fun and gets boring with time, but with multiple players it’s still real fun, even in 2021 ! for me it’s the #2 best party game behind wii party. Oh and yes only 10$ with wii remote bundle, real worth it !

    Given the price point for Wii Play Motion, $49.99 it's tough to recommend the title if you're not in the market for another Wii Remote. But if you don't have the Wii Motion+ adapter, just need another remote or are getting the hankering to try out some newer minigames to help flesh out your next Wii party, then this is a solid acquisition, as long as you know what you're getting.
