It's a party game that you don't want to miss.

Solo players will miss out on a lot. Grab some mates and it's the Wii's best multiplayer game.

Surprisingly, Nintendo did it again. Despite the almost saturated mini games market we have found new gameplay mechanics in Wii Party, and the low price for the game plus controller is almost ridiculous.

With the Wii Party Nintendo pursues the objective of bringing the Nintendo Wii more closer to the families.

Party games lovers should absolutely buy Wii Party. The number of minigames is just impressive and they are also very ingenious. Of course, there are some dull challenges but for the most part they are fresh and amusing, exactly like the improved Mii's look. Unfortunately Wii Party doesn't support any online feature and WiiMotion Plus is absent too, but is not a great lack.

It is not the most groundbreaking party game on Wii, but what it lacks in innovation it makes up for with great execution.

No matter how many parties you have going on on your Wii already, this is one that you don't want to miss.

If you can see past its shortfalls, can embrace the teeth-gnashing frustration that comes with winning everything but still coming last and if you can gather a group of like-minded people to join you, Wii Party can be a real party-popper.

Nintendo's on the streets again with a very interesting family package that's set to bring all your friends and relatives into a non-stop party. 80 mini-games with three different gameplay styles - quite more than what we could've expected.

Despite the lack of famous mascot characters, Wii Party is a truly enjoyable game.

I think it speaks volumes to just how low the level of quality in most Wii party games has become that all it took was Nintendo putting together a competent, though still largely familiar package, to put everyone else to shame.

With 80 mini-games and 13 modes of play, Wii Party easily becomes a new standard for party games. It's richer and with more variety than a Mario Party, it's smarter, faster, fitting more easily any kind of game you want to have ! Sure, you need friends - it's a immovable rule of the genre, so don't expect to enjoy this one solo either. Sure, there's always some mini-games and modes that are less inspired than others, but globally, its density and fun factor remain quite high, even without Mario and his gang.

Wii Party excels when it comes to variety and accessibility. With a large number of engaging mini-games, and several stand out modes to choose from, you'll have plenty of fun with it, especially with a group of friends.

Wii Party is a very interesting proposal which will be like by everyone and allows us to have some fun with friends. Maybe the game does not invent anything, but it brings a broad an varied minigame colection, with good balance.

There are an enormous number of mini-games under the hood here, and House Party is an odd yet inspired addition you won't find anywhere else. In spite of Wii Party's breadth of content, it's still a package with fairly limited appeal.

If Wii Party was trapped in a mine for 70 days, it would discover the richest vein of ore and find a way to get it to the surface before ever asking for a sip of water. Too soon? I'm just saying. In terms of mini-game variety, I know exactly what it feels like to hit the motherload.

Wii Party is the brand-new "family friendly" Wii game. It features a lot of cool and interesting minigames, easily enjoyable by everybody.

I found Wii Party to be pretty average in terms of presentation, though I did enjoy the different costumes for the Miis in each game, as well as some pretty convincing animations when someone wins or loses.

Since Nintendo decided to put Mario and his gang apart to adopt Miis, it could at least has taken some inspiration from other ames of the series' Wii-something.

Wii Party is a pretty good game for your familiar and friendly evenings (but also mornings, afternoons and even nights) at home. Unfortunately it's on Wii, a console with a pretty wide variety of similar games... and this is not the best of the bunch!

Despite a few hidden gems, Wii Party doesn't do anything special to stand-out in the mini-game compilation realm, although it is better than most of "the rest" out there.

So while Wii Party manages to remain entertaining by the sheer numbers of minigames and occasional clever Wiimote usage, the bland presentation and lackluster board games bring it down.

It's a shame that Wii Party seems to rely so heavily on arbitrary equalisers, resulting in several underwhelming minis, but the range of diversity and charm is more than enough to pull you in for a while.

Without any real theme beyond the generic Miis running the show, it's hard to get jazzed about such a generic production.

In a perfect word, the meta-games would be as good as the mini-games themselves. But with four people, Lambrini and deely-boppers (just me?), Wii Party's still a reliable, if fairly thin, source of entertainment all the same.

Wii Party is just another typical multiplayer game for the Wii. Unfortunately there isn't an online mode, so if you don't have friends coming over you won't be playing this game. Nevertheless this game is great for parties.

It lacks the surreal genius of Gamecube's WarioWare, but it has more than enough charm to divert you from Trivial Pursuit until it's time for Doctor Who.

With your Mii characters you try to conquer 80 mini games, some of which are really fun. The better you succeed with them the better chance you have of winning the various game modes. What disturbs the overall impression is that everything is a bit too simple. The game is ugly, sounds bad and the game modes are not as funny as the genre colleague Mario Party.

Miis are replacing the regular Mario Party cast in Wii Party. Even though it's good fun for a couple of hours, it lacks the Mario Party depth of gameplay and feels a little bit to sterile.

I honestly can't say Wii Party is a bad game. I just also can't say it's a great game. It's ... fine. But, then, is that really the reaction you want to have to your party entertainment?

The only impressive thing about Wii Party is how Nintendo dumbed down and removed the soul from a franchise that was already as stupid and soulless as Mario Party.

Much like Wii Play before it, Wii Party has about a night's worth of uneven entertainment in it before it's ready to take up a life of farming dust on your shelf.
