Official Nintendo Magazine UKA great expansion for the DS game. [June 2010, p.94]
-
If you've enjoyed WarioWare D.I.Y. and are looking to further the experience, WarioWare D.I.Y. Showcase is the perfect compliment to the already outstanding DS title.
-
As a standalone game, Wario Ware D.I.Y Showcase is a fun WiiWare title that is somewhat shallow.
-
Having D.I.Y. Showcase means I can play F*ck Face on the big screen. It's purely a vanity thing, but it's still amazing to hold a controller in your hand, look at your TV, and play something that came out of your own brain. That alone was worth my $8.
-
WarioWare D.I.Y. Showcase doesn't improve the series as far as gameplay or visuals. It's all the same wacky stuff, packed with 2-5 second games that get faster and faster till you lose. Still, between the 70+ new micro-games and the downloadable ones, plus the ability to transfer the DS creations to the big screen, there's a good value in this title, which makes it better than the mere "showcase" the name implies.
-
Its real potential resides in its connectivity with the Nintendo DS version. That is the real showcase.
-
Games Master UKWarioWare DIY's lazy brother. [July 2010, p.95]
-
While Showcase doesn't include as much variety as past WarioWare titles, it continues the franchise's longstanding tradition of being completely maniacal, frantic and fun.
-
Still, if you fancy a means of enjoying the unhinged insanity of user-created microgames on the big screen, Showcase is a worthy purchase.
-
There's plenty of novelty value in seeing your games on TV, but it's one that wears off very quickly.
