Whether or not you like boxing or anime is irrelevant, as Victorious Boxers: Revolution fails to deliver motion controls that top even Wii Sports Boxing, offers very little as far as anime games go (even the simplistic Eyeshield 21 has this beat), and is a total mess of wonky control schemes, weak presentation, and broken gameplay.
-
It's kind of sad that Victorious Boxers Revolution was botched so badly. Given that the series was a somewhat obscure anime contemporary to Fight Night, and the source material being one of the better cartoons I've seen, seeing the Wii title being so bad is a shame.
-
AceGamezA game with plenty of potential that's just devastatingly disappointing in every sense of the word.
-
This game looks like it's got moves, but it can't handle itself in the ring. Stick with Wii Sports boxing - it's not great, but it's better than this, and if you have a Wii, you already own it.
-
While the multiplayer may be passable, the rest of VBR is so flawed that it tests your patience more than your boxing skills. If you've been waiting for a Wii boxing game, you should just keep waiting and go back to Wii Sports for now -- at least that was free with your Wii.

KellyS.Oct 20, 2007This is a very solid boxing game. Love the characters, controls and overall presentation. Feels like your in the ring more than any other game.
