whoever says this is a bad game is a straight up liar!! first of all, there is amazing customization and song choices. r r r rock lobster am i right ?! anyways i was drummber and after playing this game I’ve decided to take on a drumming career. I am now as good as Travis Baker, probably better! thank you ultimate band !!!

Looked cute, but brought my 9 year-old to tears of frustration trying to play. There's no "singing" in the game... just "frontman" controller wiggling that was no fun. Games aren't suppose to make kids sad.

THIS is what elementary age kids should be playing instead of Guitar Hero! More age appropriate graphics and songs. It would be more fun with a guitar accessory, but all 4 of my kids love it and can play all at once, ages 6-12.

It's a valiant effort, but you're inevitably left feeling less like a rock star and more like a novelty act. [Dec 2008, p.98]
  2. Keep expectations in check, and your band should have a good time, even if it’s nowhere near the “ultimate” music game experience.

It's a fine idea, but in practice, Ultimate Band is a convoluted, inconsistent and inauthentic experience that emulates a phony lip-synching boy band more than a real rock experience.
