MisterD.Jan 8, 2008This is a GREAT Wii game! The adventure is a decent length and there are loads of secrets to be found. Croft Manor looks great with it's own adventure and mysteries to be discovered. The unlockable content and time-trial modes add plenty of replayability!

Jun 28, 2012It's a good Tomb Raider game, but motion controls don't work for this sort of game. It's playable, but a standard controller is preferred. The game does have some Wii exclusive features, but overall they feel gimmicky and aren't that fun. The visuals are sharper than the PS2 version. Get it on PS3, XB360, or PC instead.

Jan 2, 2014It's great!
The graphics are amazing for the Wii. The only problem is the game isn't very good with SOME motion controls if you have a Wii and you like Wii games this is a sure game to get! -
Nov 15, 2016The game looks great on the Wii. The motion controls work ok and thats a huge plus. They added some new puzzles for this version of the game. If you own a Wii, this is a must have.

Jan 15, 2023Another reboot of an old school classic and once again the graphics are the main beneficiary. One niggle is that you need to be very proficient with the nunchuck as the Tomb Raider formula calls for well-timed precision which can be very fiddly with the Wii's default controls and rather irritatingly, there's no other option.

The Wii control additions really do add to the experience and the game looks pretty good, too. The end product is not exemplary, but it is a step in the right direction and it's also entertaining, particularly when you're jumping from ledge to ledge or swinging across chasms to the beat of moody music.

Lara Croft's transition to the Wii is not an entirely smooth one.

The Wii version of Tomb Raider Anniversary won’t pull in those who have already played the game on PS2 or Xbox 360. Everyone else, however, will be pleasantly surprised by the Wii remote implementation. This is one tomb that should be explored thoroughly.
