You'll be better off finding something else — anything else — on which to spend your $20. The Island of Dr. Frankenstein isn't worth your time or attention, and aside from the original concept and story, it doesn't have any redeeming factors.
-
There’s very little to enjoy here at any point during the experience at all. As you’ve read enough times already, the endless fetch quests don’t even remotely translate to entertainment.
-
There's not an ounce of fun to be found anywhere in this simplistic and tedious adventure game.
-
I’m a gamer who regularly plays adventure games with at their core are nothing more than glorified fetch quests, but I just can’t bring myself to call this game an “adventure” because it isn’t an “adventure.” A better word to use is “job” because it is work to have to play this game.

Follow this general rule - if a game appears on a Nintendo system and you've never heard of it, or the company that produced it, steer clear.
-
Stay away. Stay far, far, far, far away from the Island of Dr. Frankenstein.
