    All these years later, and this is still one of my favourite games I've ever played. Definitely one of if not the best game the Wii had to offer. The best thing I can think to say to show my love for this game is a story from my childhood. I had a friend who was struggling with one of the missions (i believe the first Big Boo race) so he invited me over to help him get the star, I wentAll these years later, and this is still one of my favourite games I've ever played.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. A truly groundbreaking platformer for its time which still feels amazing to play today. Level design and mechanics are extremely varied and inventive which always keep you immersed throughout, along with a familiar, yet incredibly executed narrative and the best narrative I’ve seen in a 3D Mario game to date. Only real issues revolve around some awkward camera angles at times, especially underwater which aren’t ideal but don’t weigh down the overall experience. I would’ve also liked to have seen some mechanics return more often and be taken further but that seems to be asking too much for what’s been produced here. This in spirit is the true successor to Mario 64 even if it’s gameplay is more linear here.… Expand

    I remember getting this game for Christmas with my Wii. So many good memories of just the music alone make me want to dust off my copy and my old Wii to play through it again. The camera jank was pretty annoying but everything else in the game is so polished I can't take points off for it.

    This Game is incredible. The soundtrack is phenomenal and the gameplay is amazing. About the narrative, is the basic narrative of all Mario games but has the Rosalina history and is amazing.
    The Power-Ups is very creatives like the spring-Mario. This is one of the best games ever produced.

    Loved it as a kid still love it as an adult. It's like how much creativity can you put in a game? Almost no limit when it comes to Mario games. Only bad thing is the Boss fight machanics are very similar in each fight, the Boss Fights can't keep up with the creativity of the rest of the game.

    This is my personal favorite game on the Wii and it never fails to amaze me even years later. The controls of the game are great and the only problem with the visuals is the resolution. It's lacking a complex story similar to all other Mario games but unlike most Mario games there is still some story. The game is at a 97 and I still think it's underrated.

Super Mario Galaxy is now considered to be a timeless classic, and did great wonders not only for the franchise, but for video games as a whole. This game offers a great story, amazing controls and game mechanics unique to Galaxy 1 and 2, and conveys the perfect atmosphere for the setting in whichAbsolutely fantastic experience through and through, one of the greatest games of all time. Super Mario Galaxy is now considered to be a timeless classic, and did great wonders not only for the franchise, but for video games as a whole. This game offers a great story, amazing controls and game mechanics unique to Galaxy 1 and 2, and conveys the perfect atmosphere for the setting in which the game takes place. The characters in this game feel so fitting in the environments they appear in and are very likeable and unique. Not only that, but the music absolutely delivers as well, being the first in the Mario series to have an orchestrated soundtrack. The world of this game keeps the player coming back, with levels and tasks feeling fully fleshed out and very satisfying to complete. Super Mario Galaxy was and still is very impressive as a video game in the grand scheme of things, it is definitely a must play in my book.… Expand

    It was the first 3d Mario game that i played so i really fee nostalgic about it, i think that it is a really fun mario game and has a great story, also the gravity mechanics are awesome.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Absolutely legendary. Should be higher in my opinion but I just adore this true masterpiece. It all flows well and the levels are obviously gimmick based but it doesn't shine through as much as you expect from a Mario game. Everything is perfectly designed and it can be played by anyone, whether you want a nice quick 3D Mario experience and go for bare minimum stars, or you are a completionist and acquire all stars as Mario and Luigi. It suits all players and always provides a great time.… Expand

    The greatest game ever made. The controls feel so tight the worlds are os beautiful and just man, its simply amazing. Its like if Jesus came to save all game consoles and he appeared in the form of Mario galaxy with two as the holy ghost and Halo 3 as the Father. Jusr amazing.

No other game has completely won me over with incredible level design, whimsical creativity, fluid gameplay, and simple yet gorgeous visuals. Literally every level is something new, whether it be with fun boss fights, new mechanics, or atmospheric locations, and it's extremely re-playable. Going through the game during anySuper Mario Galaxy is one of the greatest games I have ever played. No other game has completely won me over with incredible level design, whimsical creativity, fluid gameplay, and simple yet gorgeous visuals. Literally every level is something new, whether it be with fun boss fights, new mechanics, or atmospheric locations, and it's extremely re-playable. Going through the game during any subsequent play-through has expanded my knowledge of what is actually possible in terms of gameplay. So many times I would take small shortcuts with some jumping techniques that would make every level quicker and more satisfying to beat.     Nintendo was my childhood and Super Mario Galaxy is the first game that i played, graphics are incredible, music is gold, history is amazing and game design is powerfully, for me, Super Mario Galaxy is the best game that Nintendo ever made, if you are in 2020, so buy Super Mario 3D All Stars on switch, i think it will be expensive, but you will not try to lose it don't?

    There's almost nothing negative I can say about Mario Galaxy, yes.. the controls are more tight than 64 and sunshine but that isn't actually a problem for this type of mario game, excellent levels, excellent bosses, excellent difficulty, excellent story for a mario game with excellent characters, excellent visuals and sounds, hardly any negatives for me

    Mario Galaxy is the best Mario game ever made. Super Mario Galaxy's graphics, soundtrack and controls are amazing. It tops all the previous Mario games such as Super Mario 64 and Super Mario World.

    This game was the best out of all the games I own for Wii. It's great graphics and exciting settings don't make you sick of it in an hour and makes Mario look like a whole new player.

    Super Mario Galaxy is one of the greatest games of all time. As a person who's played it on both the Nintendo Switch and Wii, this game is something I will never forget. The hub world lights up as you play it, the music just fills you with immediate joy. The controls are not at their best though. The spinning is sometimes inaccurate, same thing with the pointer. I felt very frustratedSuper Mario Galaxy is one of the greatest games of all time. As a person who's played it on both the Nintendo Switch and Wii, this game is something I will never forget. The hub world lights up as you play it, the music just fills you with immediate joy. The controls are not at their best though. The spinning is sometimes inaccurate, same thing with the pointer. I felt very frustrated racing the boo on the switch. Super Mario Odyssey and Super Mario 64 sometimes dance over this game. But the innovativeness with the gravity, the launch stars and much more make this deserve its 97. I love this game.… Expand
