    You'll be hard-pressed to find a game more difficult to complete than Stonekeep. Not because its design is devilishly clever or because it has fantastic AI, but simply because it is a pain to play. The game suffers from frequent slowdown, a nonexistent plot and motion controls that are completely sanctimonious.

    In the level where you open the door with the blue key (wind level) there will be a platform with no air to push you up. You will have to hover up 4 levels until you get to the Gargoyle. The Gargoyle was hard to beat in such a small area so I personally grabbed the key behind him and fled since he wasn't mandatory to kill.

    Now other HINTS about this game that I just beat today! I was very dissapointed about the review I found because I thought it was fun so now that I have completed it-- I will write my review.

    First off, your arms will get a workout with this game, so be prepared.

    First hint which you saw above is the Large Gargoyle doesn't have to be killed.

    Second hint is dust is your best friend. Once you obtain the dust feature you can use this anytime you are entering a room full of monsters or ghosts to slow them down.

    Now for the Big Ogre and ETTINS are killed the same -- with big rocks thrown quickly and fast., they will regain life so you have to throw them one after another and keep going until dead.

    To get through the molton area on the fire level -- use your Ice Path feature. At the end of the level you will have to fight a dragon. You can kill the Dragon OUTSIDE OF THE door without ever having to enter. Just use alot of fire magic spells until he is almost dead.

    The Fairy and Wizard are both killed by just repeatedly hitting them with your weapon.

    Other hints --> use the "bubble," spell often on the Water and Shadow of darkness levels. This will kill ghosts and wraiths with one hit. Beware the spell is hard to use so make sure you throw DUST down before entering ANY room.

    ANOTHER HINT: Use the save button after you kill a room full of monsters or whenever you gain something.. if you do not go back to the save button you will have to start ALL OVER.    … Expand
