    Sonic unleashed is the time tested example of what truly makes a video game more than a video game. Comparing this to the raging dumpster fire that is Overwatch 2, I can't understand how those devs could truly go that wrong.

    The game is quite fun, i would say that in comparison to it's xbox 360 and ps3 counterparts, which have much higher highs and much lower lows the wii version is more consistent.
    The day stages aren't as exhilarating but the night stages aren't as tedious, in part thanks to the motion controls which turn the werehog sections from annoying button mashing to button mashing with a little more    The game is quite fun, i would say that in comparison to it's xbox 360 and ps3 counterparts, which have much higher highs and much lower lows the wii version is more consistent.

    There is support for Wiimote & nunchuck, classic or GameCube controllers, thus making the game accessible to people who might not fancy the motion aspect of the game.
    The movement feels very nice, very rarely did i find it annoying or frustrating, the hardest thing is learning the controls as nintendo is always uses "non-standard" so to say controls.
    The story is good enough, you aren't buying the game for it that's for sure.
    In comparison to the ps2 version the wii version looks much better, but that's expected from a console that is supposedly from the 7th generation.
    The voice acting is lacking at times, but it's not bad or anything, just not amazing.

    I recommend the game and i can't find any flaws that create large problems or disruptions.    … Expand

    Esse é um dos meu jogos de infância favoritos, ele é bem divertido e eu não sei muito o por que as pessoas não gostam muito dele.

    One of the most complete Wii games I've ever played. Looks pretty good, has a stellar soundtrack, thrilling speed, a genuinely enjoyable story that got me into Sonic and the motion controls are very well done.

    Melhor jogo de sonic que já joguei até hoje, esse jogo apresenta um ÓTIMO level design que mescla um plataformer frenético com uma pitada de estratégia e precisão (por parte do sonic moderno),e por parte do sonic lobo ,mesmo sendo um tipo de gameplay muito fora do contexto que os jogos do sonic sempre foram, é um ótimo jogo de beat em up, existem variadas formas de derrotar os inimigosMelhor jogo de sonic que já joguei até hoje, esse jogo apresenta um ÓTIMO level design que mescla um plataformer frenético com uma pitada de estratégia e precisão (por parte do sonic moderno),e por parte do sonic lobo ,mesmo sendo um tipo de gameplay muito fora do contexto que os jogos do sonic sempre foram, é um ótimo jogo de beat em up, existem variadas formas de derrotar os inimigos ,tanto usando combinações de combo diferentes ou finalizando os mesmos com seções de quick time event. A historia do game não deixa a desejar em nenhum momento , além de ser bem construída e possuindo partes engraçadas , dramáticas ,sérias e até mesmo tristes, é uma ótima pedida de jogo para qualquer tipo de classificação de idade.     The gameplay is quick, responsive and fun, and is one of the best games in the franchise, other than the 2D games and Colours, this is my favourite Sonic game. Its plot is unique and the Werehog levels offer different and distinctive gameplay, while standard levels give highly fun, fast paced gameplay.

    This is honestly the best 3d Sonic game I've played so far, along with Heroes. The voice acting's impressive, the story's interesting, the visuals are still great today (wait, this is the Wii version), and I don't care what you guys say about the werehog. You don't have to play/like this, but if you like speed and combat, then    *knock knock* "Is that my childhood knocking at the door?"

    in ps3 and xbox version you can travel around the maps but in this one no.and eggmanland is seperate in this version. its one of the bestest wii games ı ever played but it have little mistakes

    Easily the best Sonic game ever, fast-paced and crazy daytime stages and slow-but intense nighttime sections and great visuals create a thrill-enduring experience. It’s Sonic, and boy, does it finally feel like it!

    This is honestly my favourite 3D Sonic game. This is probably the fastest Sonic has and will ever go, and I even enjoyed the Werehog stages! Sonic Team was moving forward, but then started to move back with Lost World...

    When I put in this game after holding on to it with thirty minutes game time for nearly six years, I expected to be thoroughly disappointed. I've heard many things about Unleashed's Wii version, ranging from unresponsive controls, to an overabundance of night levels, to a lack of content, to lower graphics, to tedious motion controls. But, even with all this bad reception, I marched onWhen I put in this game after holding on to it with thirty minutes game time for nearly six years, I expected to be thoroughly disappointed. I've heard many things about Unleashed's Wii version, ranging from unresponsive controls, to an overabundance of night levels, to a lack of content, to lower graphics, to tedious motion controls. But, even with all this bad reception, I marched on forward and ended up being thoroughly surprised! Sonic Unleashed greatly retains the classic series' fast, action-packed gameplay, while also bringing in some much needed variation in the form of a slower, puzzle-based platforming beat-em-up. Take this as you will, as a sign that I'm not a Sonic fan (which i'm not), when I say that I liked the night stages a lot more than the daytime levels. The motion controls are fun, and there are tons of special moves, on top of blocks, evasion, and AoE combo attacks. The graphics are great, even with console limitations. Some people'd say the whole idea of a werehog is stupid, but I think it's interesting and a welcome deviation from the franchise's long history of bad 3D games. This is one of the best Wii experiences to date, and possibly even one of the best Sonic games, not like there was much to contend with in the first place!… Expand

    While yes the game has bad wherehog level design, the camera leaves a lot to be desired, and Chip can get annoying at the beginning for already seasoned players with his tutorials, however, the game still has a cool Sonic-esq story and funny situations with Eggman and friends. Finally, the final boss feels like a boss. (Dark Gaia, not Eggman).

    This game is pretty good on the Wii version the only bad things i can say about it is 1. Forced motion controls on Night Stages 2. HOLOSKA NIGHT STAGES 3. Egg Lancer is pretty unfair but the game has more redeeming qualities than things that hurt its score GOOD THINGS: 1. Final Boss is more fair 2. NO FORCES BUTTON MASHING/QUICK TIME EVENTS 3.     Sonic Unleashed is actually best played on the Wii. This version has great controls and level design that's much more well laid-out. Another good addition was the removal of medal hunting and hubworlds giving you more time in the action. What was a mediocre game on PS3 is brilliant on Wii.

The fast-paced levels are designed to keep you moving all the way through rather than to stop you and slow you down, and it's clear that Sonic works so much better in 3D because you can see what's coming and react to it. I'm a big exploration gamer and secret hunter, andBest Sonic game I've ever played. I have many complaints about the original 2D Sonic and this game fixes all of them. The fast-paced levels are designed to keep you moving all the way through rather than to stop you and slow you down, and it's clear that Sonic works so much better in 3D because you can see what's coming and react to it. I'm a big exploration gamer and secret hunter, and this game not only provides secrets to be found in the many different routes of the fast levels but also provides a whole separate game mode where you slow down and explore levels at a moderate pace. This gives the game great variety which I also like. And then there are unlockable puzzle levels that impressively combine the two radically different play styles into one.… Expand

    The werehog stages are great but can get repetitive. The day stages are probably the best part of the game you feel like the fastest thing alive actually. The graphics are beautiful and the controls are great. The boss battles are amazing too. The story is a bit cliche but I can deal with it. So this game is my 7th or 6th favorite sonic game.

    Awesome game to the Sonic the hedgehog series.Sonic is so fast,even faster than in generations.Even though the werehog stages in this game is not bad,but i recommend you doing the day stages.

    This game is a Wii highlight. Don't pass out because it's the "inferior" version. I love this game. All of the day stages are extremely well designed, and I can tolerate the later Werehog stages, To me, they actually pass by quickly, and I get a kick out of beating the hell out of anything that moves.

    The game, overall, has a nice flow to things, and the daytime stages are definately the highlight. There's just some satisfaction of getting an S on a flawless Eggmanland run. To get the sought-after S, you need to become well-aware of the best route, and lies ahead on it. The results can surprise even the most experienced player. Non-hackers can beat Adabat in under 2:00 if they know what they're doing.    … Expand

    This game was a very nice sonic game. I admit it may have its flaws (Like too many were-hog stages) But at least they were enjoyable. The fast paced action and humor give this game my rating of 8

The Wii port is the second best port of the game (Xbox 360 port being the best.) the Wii port is fun as on other systems. The day time stages are best part of the game while the night time stages are slow and combat base, but still fun and fast pact in combat. The graphtes are great for Wii standards and thesonic Unleashed is one of the best Wii games you can get that not from Nintendo.     Before this game arrived I loved certian sonic but then this game came. It's a brilliant game and the best 3D sonic game. The game is not perfect but it is still very amazing. The only flaw with the game is the controls for the wherehog but you can use the classic controller. The Graphics are brilliant in this game and the cutscenes are amazing.

    Overall: This is the best Sonic game to date even with the wherehog. The Gameplay is brilliant in the Day time stages and the night time stages are allright. For a sonic fan this is a must get.Also the soundtrack is even better and it sounds brilliant.

    The Wii version has less annoying traits than the others and still retains all the usual mediocrity. The motion-control elements in the Werehog levels add an extra dimension to the action, and the hub worlds are entirely text-based and aren’t nearly as annoying. If you can stand the diminished graphics, the Wii version actually edges out the PS3 and 360 entries.
