    All in all, Samurai Warriors 3 is a typical hack-and-slay game with unique characters and stories. The graphics and sound effects are really neat, but the missing variety and the bad minimap are lowering the score.

    Samurai Warriors 3 comes exclusively to Wii in a game that maintains the strengths and weaknesses of previous installments of the franchise. If you like this kind of game, it will go big. If not, there is nothing new under the sun.

    A classic Hack'n'Slash, with an interesting control scheme suitable for some solid co-op entertainment. Obviously, the progression is still repetitious and frustrating in the long term.

    Manage to grab it on the cheap though and you may find it becoming something of a guilty pleasure, a game to be popped into the Wii when all you really want to do is disengage your brain and kill thousands of bad guys while mutilating your own fingers in the process.

If you like this type of game there is nothing that should keep you away from this except that it gets a little repetitive, but I didn't find it was so much so that I had to stop. It's a solid game and fans of the genre should pick it up. If you are delving into the genre for the first time, this might be a decent starting point but don't hold it as the standard for the genre.… Full Review »
