KatherB.Dec 7, 2007This version is exactly like the PSP version. The fonts size used is pretty small. If you do not have a good TV and component cable, prepare to squint your eyes. Overall its a very nice and addictive game. Felt that they could have spent more effort porting it to Wii.

AlWiseApr 13, 2008I like puzzle games, and was excited about trying this one. Oh dear! It was compelling for the first 20 or so combats, but after that is extremely repetitive. The plot helps to keep you moving through but with reluctance, all the while hoping it will improve and become interesting.

At $30, the Wii version of Puzzle Quest is the most expensive out there. But it looks, sounds, and controls worse than versions that cost half that. The core gameplay is rock solid, and you definitely don't want to miss out if you haven't already played the game. But what could have been one of the Wii's standout puzzle games ends up being a half-assed port.

Puzzle Quest is by no means perfect. In fact, one of its most noticeable flaws happens to be an extremely weird one (tiny text) and immensely frustrating, and the game may not be good for casual gamers due to its high difficulty level. Still, if you can get over both those flaws, you're in for one heckuva good time.

The presentation is sloppy, with music that abruptly cuts off and a diminished gem playfield. It's worth a rental, at best.
