Its core is as exciting as ever and the new features justify trading in last year's edition.
-
Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 is a great soccer game. The gameplay overall is still pretty much the same, but a lot more has been added. The engine in the gameplay is excellent, and feels a more smooth gameplay. The free kick has improved and the IA of your players is better than last year's edition. Very fun and fantastic gameplay.

Konami delivers an excellent game of football on Wii. Better, a more refined and complete experience than before.
-
Excellent, in its own peculiar way, but offers little new if you've got PES 2009. [Winter 2009, p.61]
-
Games Master UKA brilliant brain-taxing alternative to normal PES without sweeping changes. [Winter 2009, p.81]
-
This Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 is a good title that football fans will like. Maybe it's not as good as in other consoles, but improves last year games and the rest of the games of the genre in Wii.
-
It doesn’t bring the same wow factor as the first go-round thanks to its general lack of innovation, but at least the soccer is still very solid and the few changes are most definitely for the better.
-
The formula is the same of past year, with all the "pros and cons" preserved.
-
Want a challenging, tactical experience with long-term rewards? Then PES 2010 is the game for you, though if you bought last year's version you may want to give the outlay some serious thought as this year's nuances are few and far between.
-
Nintendo PowerGiven the youthful glow of PES 2009, the 2010 offering predictably offers little broken ground. [Jan 2010, p.89]
-
Pes 2010 on the Wii is really a little step forward compared to the 2009 edition; the series seems to have lost some kind of interest by Konami itself, and the result is a product that fails to impress and innovate over the solid exclusive wiimote gameplay.
-
This game is a good footie for the Wii, but because of the lack of evolution and innovation it failed to be more than that.
-
PES 2010 forgets to innovate, which is especially disappointing considering that defending is as difficult as it was in previous years due to a lack of real control. However, the game has it’s moments of brilliance when you’re on the attack, which saves it from a sub-par grade.
