    From the way that you can fade away in a triple team from the 3 point line to the lack of career mode, nba live 09 for wii is the worst basketball game ever. I'm trying 2K this year.

    I was hoping after the atrocious effort in NBA 08, EA would step it up a bit. However, while the jumpshooting is no longer impossible, the game has these annoying arrows are on your screen that lets you know (and your opponent) where the ball is going to go if you decide to pass it. Still no Franchise Mode. Player ratings and Team ratings make no sense (i.e. Dwight Howard is an 80, the I was hoping after the atrocious effort in NBA 08, EA would step it up a bit.     It's not a great game by any stretch of the imagination, but I've enjoyed it so far!

    If you want a fun arcade basketball game, you should look at this. Fast paced gameplay, some motion controls, season, all-star weekend, 2vs2 and FIBA modes make a good package. But if you want a simulation basketball, don't try.

    The shooting in the game is so easy, that it is a little too easy. I was expecting more customization like the the NBA 2k games have had. There is so little in the game that it gets boring quickly.

    Hit the court in this unique entry in the lengthy NBA Live series, where the action never stops. Bursting onto the Wii this NBA Live entry didn't pull any punches when it comes to fast pace basketball action at break-neck speeds. You couldn't tell from first glance with it's complete NBA licensed teams, arenas and players, but this a arcade B-ball experience that can go toe to toe with theHit the court in this unique entry in the lengthy NBA Live series, where the action never stops.     What makes the experience even better is the use of the nunchuck and wii mote as the controls, everything is fluid and responsive and making plays is as easy as it is fun.

    This is your best bet for playing some b ball on the Wii, and an excellent entry in the now defunct series.    … Expand
