While Monster 4X4 adds more entertainment around the included wheel peripheral and an overall stronger game than GT Pro Series, it still suffers from downgraded graphics and an overall lack of style when compared to its Xbox predecessor that released just a few months ago.
-
New driving controls add barely a smidgen of excitement to this Wii port of a thoroughly boring monster truck racer.
-
After a jovial couple of hours in its company the scales will fall, and what had just seemed an unpretentious, unassumingly enjoyable videogame becomes a kind of existential nightmare of averageness that it's impossible to play for a minute longer. Monster 4x4: World Circuit is the definition of the lowest common denominator.
-
Monster 4X4: World Circuit is a budget port of an Xbox title, we're getting it almost a year later and at full price. The game wasn't great originally and it still isn't.
-
Few people will accuse Monster 4x4 World Circuit of being a good game, but it's been dressed up enough that it at least crawls out of the sub-mediocre sewer.
