Games Master UKDec 16, 2011Won't convert the Anti-Mini-gamers, but for the busier household it's highly recommended. [Jan 2012, p.84]

Nov 21, 2011Mario & Sonic fills the multiplayer gap, and does it with good-humoured minigames and a renewed focus on throwaway Olympic fun. As far as party games go, it's the gold standard.

Pelit (Finland)Jan 10, 2012Mario & Sonic: Third time is the charm. This olympic game is by far the best application published under the Mario & Sonic franchise. The mini games are well executed and the regular sports are topped off with fantastic dream sports. Although there's still not enough content for long lasting sporting mayhem, the presentation is far better than in the two previous installments. [Jan 2012]

Nov 25, 2011This new Mario & Sonic olympic game isn't going to surprise anyone for its new features, but the game has improved and offers improved gameplay for everyone. Although we miss an Olympic mode like in the previous game, the new London For Everyone is a great addition and provides hours of fun.

Nov 16, 2011In terms of sports, Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games in many ways delivers more of the same. Nonetheless, it offers fun and beautiful entertainment, especially for kids. The diverse use of the Wii MotionPlus controller makes for a great gaming experience.

Dec 8, 2011Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games is an interesting game that is reminiscent of those classic 80's Olympic games like Summer Games but with 21st century graphics and the innovative Wii gaming mechanics. Like all mini-game collections, some of the games work and others are just a little embarrassing.
-
Dec 19, 2011On the whole, Mario and Sonic at the London 2012 Olympics is a game that seems to both progress the series while keeping it firmly in the roots established by its 2007 predecessor. The motion controls fail to give a groundbreaking presence amongst its many party game brethren on the Wii, and many of the events featured here already made appearances in the other games.
-
Nov 27, 2011It's also a fun game for adults to play in a party situation, and is likely to provide some level of entertainment to people of all ages - just keep in mind the high waggle factor and the convoluted controls; this will definitely lead to frustration for some.
-
Nov 23, 2011But the actual sports? They're the same here as they were four years ago, and anyone who's already got a copy of the first Mario & Sonic Olympic game sitting on the shelf doesn't need to double-dip.
-
Nov 18, 2011There're a few additions to the original formulae, but it's very much the same experience as the one that we discovered back in the Winter Olimpic Games and in Beijing 2008. Still, it's one of those games that is a blast to play with three or four people.
